I am not trying to be negative, but I am really getting bored with vaping. My daughter quit with me, and went right back to smoking. I am just really missing smoking. It is 100 outside, and that is where I would have to go to smoke, and I don't really want to do that, but something is missing. I don't have any real cigarettes, and don't plan to buy any, but I want to get over this hump.

Help us figure this out.

What do you use? Gear, juice, etc. I had a VERY bad night about 25 days in...so I shopped online and ordered juice. You can do it...but the smoker part of your brain will give you a million excuses when it decides you should have a smoke. Thankfully, vaping has made me not have those moments nearly as much as when I went cold turkey.

I have the Provari mini and regular, a silver bullet, and vmax. I also have several of the ego style battery type. I have a vape store in the city I live in. I have tasted and tried before I have bought. I have also bought on-line, but not as good as what I have bought in person. I am not looking for an excuse to smoke again. Maybe I went to zero nicotine too soon. I forgot about vaping most of the day. Then... I went outside with the hubby and he lit up. That first light up smell soooo good. I guess that is where I started having a problem.

Sounds like you went to 0nic way too soon. Also maybe look into WTA juices. That is supposed to help the cravings if regular nic juice doesn't help.

I had a problem kind of like this when I started. I liked the juice I had, and my set-up wasn't too bad ( though I did get bigger batteries around that time too.)

It was on a weekend, and I was cleaning and stuff around the house, and feeling rather frustrated. I had my 510 hanging around my neck, and was using it often enough, but I STILL wanted to go outside and have a cigarette. I couldn't understand it.... Then I realized, what I wanted was the BREAK! A reason to just sit down and do nothing for a little while. It had been the same way at work a couple times too, and now I understood it.

It was so easy after that for me, and I hope this helps you

You know the problem. You have the gear...going 0 nic right away is like running into the gas station and daring them to sell you a carton.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I am not ready to go back to smoking, but it is a little harder to stay away from smoking when I am doing it alone. My husband has tried taking a toot on my ecigs, and just starts coughing. My MIL that is moving in with us has COPD, and is in pretty bad shape.

I agree about the break thing. I was cleaning the house hard core today, and usually after certain tasks I'd "reward" myself with a smoke. I kinda got that feeling today, so I just stayed away from my PV until I completed a big task, then sat down and vaped for awhile. It really helped! A lot of my cravings I know are centered around habits more than the cigarettes themselves.

Along with teaching how to pull on the device, play with the voltage settings and the resistance levels of your cartos. Toss in a 2.0 ohm and drop the voltage. Preferably on a single coil carto. Duals really give me a punch in the throat whereas singles give me that big burst of flavor and minimal throat hit. Use a longer drip tip if you have one. Keep the vape cool. It helps with the irritation. I learned that from experience. This is why I love my VV device. I can really crank it up when I want the hit, or turn it way down if I am letting someone try it for the first time.

As for your cravings, keep some 12mil juice in a tank. When you get that urge to smoke, pop the tank on and take a few puffs. It really helps to "zap" your system with some nicotine. That's what helped with my cravings. I started on 24 and am now down to 12. I have one tank with 18 in it for those times when I get frustrated at work and want to go out for a smoke.

That's exactly what I found out. When I was a smoker I used smoking a cig as a way to stop what I was doing and gather my thoughts.
