Getting Harassed for Vaping...

I get that look *all* the time when I vape, even when I'm driving with the windows up and the AC on.
(some times I get that look even when I'm not vaping.. But that's another story.

Many people think it's a drug or something

otoh, I've caught myself vaping next to strangers who,
you know, shouldn't have to put up with my preferences
and when I apologize they'll say, "Oh no, go right ahead it smells wonderful."

personally, I never have liked the smell of strong perfume
But after I quit smoking ciggies I can't stand it.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander so I make it a point
to do unto others as...and abstain when in the company of non vapers as much
as I can. Except of course when I'm in my cave then...too bad.

Now I hsve to walk a mile and 1/2 to vale I feel this is unfair for us vapors. We really need to start fighting back for rights and they need yo give us designated areas if they font want us vaping around them. Anyways im just whining like a baby now. I get the occasional fake cough...who cares.if peoples lives are that empty, I really don't want contact with them..most everybody is cool., and I go out of my way to not vape around people when in public....only once did some git really get up in my face about vaping outdoors....I plesantly explained it was an electronic cigarette, and I wasn't smoking...he told me it was illegal I told him pleasently it was not illegal. he told me was going to call a cop..... I asked him if he wanted me to help him find one. finally I was able to calm the situation by explaining if he didn't go away I would break my foot off in his ..... ...this seemed to calm him down a bit, and he wandered off.

Ill fart and then say now would you rather me to let that smell out of me ir the sweet fruity vapor?? Lol jk. I hope my hubby gets released soon. Its beautiful here but im home sick. I dont know anyone in Beverly Hills and everyones like brand new and shiny and im stinky and unshowered bcus im livibg out of 2 small bags I got to bring with us to the hospital.

Where abouts in cali are you at right now? Where I am located, it is pretty much accepted to a certain degree. There are enough vapers, from Blu's to Egos, to APV's and mechs to go around. I can look out my window and count more vapers than smokers.

If he has a private room, just go in the bathroom and vape; I do that anytime I have to visit my mom in the hospital (between diabetes and cirrhosis, she's there a lot!).

@Chickenstew702 asked "does vaping cause pollution" not sure if this was a rhetorical/sarcastic type deal I'll answer anyway, the answer is no. The whole fake coughing thing that {Moderated} do when they are trying to be annoying because they consider your inert vapor harmful is simply ridiculous and I have no tolerance for it. I will just stare until it becomes uncomfortable for them and they move on. Ever since quitting smoking cigarettes I personally can't stand the smell of them, at the same time I don't act like a complete ..... around people who continue to chose to smoke.

Wonder if vape will set off smoke detectors. I think the smoke detectors detect small particles so they shouldn't.
But think of the shower things on the roof going off while you're sitting there vaping in the boys room.

There are different types of smoke detectors.
Some are set off by vaping and others are not.

Phil Busardo can attest to the one in his house going off!

Probably best to just go to your car to vape or smoke or just leave and come back. That is what must people do when they are not allowed to smoke or vape. Its not what we may prefer but its the right thing to do.

I don't think a bathroom smoke detector (say in a hotel) would go off. A shower creates a lot of steam. (Just jumped in here.)
