Getting rid of lingering tastes from old carts?

I tried out a chocolate cart in my 901/901b's and really loathed it. Problem is now that the atomisers seem to be tainted with the taste despite a few cart changes. Is there anyway to rid them of it or is it just a waiting game involving the puffing of other flavours.

Try emptying the liquid in the atomizer now by removing the cart and batt, putting a tissue over the cartridge end and blowing hard through the battery end. Then drip a couple drops of the new liquid into it.
