GG by Imeo Gold plated version???

Hey there,

I don't know a lot about GG's at all but I do like side firing switches. I found a mod I'm interested in and someone's claiming it to be an authentic gold plated GG. As far as I knew they only were made in SS and brass. Is it possible Imeo released a limited gold plated brass version? I've tried doing a Google search and so far have come up with nothing but I'm not quick to call someone a liar or scammer. With how quick vaping has become popular, a lot of people are buying and selling stuff that even they were under the impression was real from someone else....

Can anyone tell me if this is authentic or not and provide links also if possible, thanks!

Imeo never released a limited or unlimited gold plated brass or ss or any other version of any Kind of GG my friend.
whoever told you this... probably was talking about a real GG which someone gild it... or he's a scammer

Over the years I've seen a few people gold plate their GG's I've always wanted to have one of mine done.

When I get the chance I want to have my name engraved on my JGG #88 and my mix TMF Stealth ( JGG I finally got my number and the Stealth was first run of stealth and one of the very few TMF which meant a lot to me since I helped with the idea) Then I would like to have them gold plated and a display case made for them. Ithaka #88 also if I can ever get my hands on it as well to sit on the JGG.

Thanks to everyone who responded! While I actually came across a vaping site this morning on a unrelated search for different types of wire for rebuilding coils that offers gold plating at vapor-mania.com, I was pretty sure with the amount of GG enthusiast out there, there would have been SOMETHING out there on a rare or limited edition gold plated GG! Either this person is a scammer or was quite possibly scammed themselves!

Great responses though! Mods can either feel free to close this thread or it looks like there might be enough interest garnered to possibly warrant the consideration of a ultra rare and special "GP" future GG model?? I personally don't know that much about GG's other than they seem to be a pretty popular and one of the first side firing switch mechs? I actually went with a Dominus Fecit for my first side switch and mech mod and couldn't be more happier, especially with the "lord's" upgrade option! I don't want to get too far off track, so back to GG.

Actually, I have thought of another question! During my search I was under the impression the GG line was no longer being produced. Is this true? Thanks!
