GG carrying/secure case design ideas

Just a thread for GG carrying/secure case design ideas.

The one I'm using now is from a Pierre Cardin pen/pencil holder.

I eventually want to design something with a foam insert with a notch for the button.

Is it your intent to provide a case or a stand INSTEAD of fixing the switch? Or is this in addition to , or seperate from fixing the switch?

there is athread on the ecf forum where peeps are showing off their carrying cases, there are some really good ones in there,
where is that thread ---------

I use a zip around case, that was a holding case for a hard drive
it has elastiic holders on both sides and mesh pockets on both sides also. I t a real good onr, there is a picture of it on the thread I am talking about------

You can just cut a little piece of that rubbery stuff that you can line shelves and drawers with. Just cut a piece a little bigger than your GG to lay it on. We have to work with Imeo. He is the only person making and fixing these. We need to be patient. Just be cautious. No body has been injured yet. We can't get in a panic over this. He will get it all fixed if we just give him time.

I still like the idea of a stand, so when I am typing, I can place it in its stand, quickly.. Im using a candle holder at the moment, and there are 4 different ecigs in it and a bottle of juice.....lol,

I used a $5 Dockers Men's grooming kit I got for Christmas. I took all of the grooming stuff out and now it holds everything I need for my JOYE 510. The only customization I made was attaching velcro to the cart box and an extra bottle of liquid. Measures 6" X 4" and zips closed. It's a great way to keep all of my stuff organized.

Could one just paint there GG with that special paint for the button problem?
A case for me will never do. I would rather paint her. I would forget to place GG in the case. I get busy at work and this case will be forgotton.

I use a camera case very much like this. They're fairly ubiquitous, cheap, and have a handy tough metal clip you can strap on your jeans and you can at a pinch squeeze the setup in your front pocket.

Only downside is you have to unscrew the atty. Although small there's space for batteries, one small bottle of juice spare atty etc.

I want to ask something. Trog must recall all SDs because they fire on pockets? I am just asking only.

My intention is all people to have the best. If I want, I can recall all GGs and just paint or rubber the button. I can find other cheap solutions and other at no cost solutions. I can charge you the real cost just saying that the shipping is more than what it is in real. Is this what we want?

I suggest to all of you to pay a little fee to have the best. You will have the fix, you will have the ability to adjust tyhe path, you will have the locked button. Is there any other cig with these features?

I want to stay calm and logical guys. This issue is nothing special. Its an issue like all cigs have. Mine has one more but you must see the benefits of all the other things GG offers. Beauty, 6v, immortality, engraving and personal engraving, gold caps, immortal and multiple adapters, etc.

I say all these because I want you to have the best guys but a small fee for all the buttons features is not something special. To see how I want to help, I say that if you pay 12 euros, I will put the new button to all of you if you send it to me to the next 15 days.

Is it more than fair?

It sounds fair to me... and not to have to worry... priceless!
Would the 12 euros include the shipping cost for you to sent back to us? I hope my GG comes tomorrow so I'll have a few days to play with it before it has to go back "home" for a visit! 8-o

Yes it includes shipping Mixxy. I loose money from this but ok no problem. I want the best for all, I say it again until all people understand it

I'd say most of us are concerned rather than panicked. I truly hope you aren't offended by the concern, since it certainly takes nothing away from the beauty, power and performance. It's my opinion that the GG is the best e-cig product available. The fix will make it perfect, IMO.

You can adjust how much you will push the button until it makes the contact. Some people dont like to press the button for 2-3mm until it makes a contact and they like to make the contact just with a little touch. Others wants to feel the pushing. Trans will come in a logical touch but you can change it as you like

I dont have a GG yet but may I say something. Okay your GG grant and nano do they both have the same exact button and same size hole? I would charge E10 to make a universal secure button for both the GG nano and Grant that way when the person is ready for the security they can send you the money and you just send the new button with directions. So the person can put it on themselves leaving you with more time with the transformer.
So make all the buttons you can of course to the list of people who want it and when you have the chance set a date when the individuals can start to purchase.
I understand you have an income to make and putting off the transformer will make you lose money. So to be fare for everyone including manufacturer just make the universal button for grant and nano and the individual can put it on themselves. The other benifit to this is those individuals wont have to be left with out there GG for two or three weeks.
