I have had the gg clone for a bit over a week and after a few days of use the button is getting very hot. I had been using it with an aga t so i thought maybe the aga was shorting but after rebuilding a few coils on it, I was still having the same issue. I then started using it with some boge and smok cartos and also a hh357 atty and no matter what i put on it the button gets hot. out of 10 vapes probably 7 cause the button to get hot. Its pretty new but i tried cleaning the contacts but no go. any ideas on getting this to work? i just put in a request to the vendor for a replacement this morning but havent gotten word back yet.

Remove top
Remove battery
Carefully inspect Switch movement and contact with center pin.
Check center pin for straightness in tube.
Clean contact areas and apply dielectric grease

Ohms?
Length of vape?

I'm using 2 in 18350 mode and the switches never get warm. Also - Always press firmly for maximum contact.

Thanks for the info, the ohms for the aga-t is 1.1, but ive also tried a few 2.0 ohm cartos and a 2 ohm 357 and they all cause the button to get hot. the length of vape is maybe 4-5 seconds any longer it will probably leave a burn on my finger. i dont have it with me now but there are two globs of solder holding the spring on the post near the switch. you think that could cause the problem?

got the same deal happening intermittently.
quoted from youtube:
"99 cents at auto zone will fix the hot button. Get a packet of bulb grease and put a very thin layer on the battery post and a very small dab on the inside of the switch"

Same as what crxess is saying?

Is Noalox on the threads the same deal, or is that another matter?
