GG for Dummies?

Hey all!

I've had a Penny couple of weeks now. First tank was EXCELLENT, subsequent ones. . . meh. Seems I've now got it going good again and fortunately had ordered 25 ready wires from COV and still have decent # left

In any event, since that first experience, piqued my interest in GG. Problem is there are SO many threads/videos. Where does one start?
For example, there is a GG for sale in the classies, a buddy told me to make sure it has the stealth rethreader so can use in 18350 mode, buyer said would include penny base, but someone else asked about "newer GGTS with brass posts in bottom"? Where do I start to get an understanding of how the different builds work with different parts?

Here you go first thing to understand what are the parts of GGTS ok simple. look at the diagram illustration from zorath to help see the parts dissembled. now that link doesnt show the latest revision. but not many differences.(cosmetic)
