You have one of the faulty telescopes since you told me that your UFS screws down on the side with longer threads.
Even though the AVS fits on both the top tube and telescope?
Man that blows. I have an extra SS tube if you can't get a replacement sent out fast.

You could use your stealth ring and an 18350 until the replacemnet tubes arrive.......
