Help setting Price

Ok, y'all. I'm getting ready to put my GG stuff up on the classys... :-( I could use a little help figuring out how much to ask for it all. Here's what I've got:

SSGGTS #787. It's got a small scratch in it, but is otherwise pristine. Nickel Bottom cap and Nickel 901/510 and 801 caps, plus both rethreaders and the bag.

Stealth Cap set

Iatty w/ about 2 ft of Res and No-res wire, plus a good three feet of CoV wick.

Megalodon bottom button (This fits into the collector tank when put on the bottom of the telescope, and gives the option of a single 18350 Bottom Button GGTS!)

So, how much?

Just to clarify: This isn't a For sale thread, y'all. I'm just trying to figure out what this stuff's worth so I can set a fair price when I post it in the Classifieds section in a few days.

Then go to the classifieds closed threads, do a word search and see what they have been selling for???

There are currently GGTS's in stock, so it is going to have to be close to that price. I am assuming you do not have the original brass batt end cap and catch tank lid, so you will be after someone who wants the all silver look. I would say that $250 for the GGTS plus 801 cap, maybe $270 since someone wanting to switch to all silver would end up paying about $300 new for that setup in all silver.

The stealth cap you could easily charge the full $60 for, but mostly this will help the whole package sell along with the Iatty.

The Iatty you could get $150 with the extra wick and wires.

I would say $450 to $500 dollars shipped range depending on how bad you want to sell it.

I personally just try to recoupe money, not make a profit when selling, but that is just me. Then again, I understand that you need the money. You could probably start a little higher, considering the fact that you have an Iatty and a stealth cap.

Not sure about the don button. Since I assume that it is new, it would be fair charge what you paid for it and up the price accordingly, but it would help if you link the thread showing how to use it so that potential buyers understand the added value.

It will be difficult for someone to pay for all the stuff Chaos. I know that its easier for you but better to sell the parts to different people because some people have GGTS and want only Iatty, or only stealth cap etc. At the end it will be easier and quicker for you that way

Maybe you could set prices individually that are higher on the hot items and a bundle price that has a bit of a price break

Yes, selling those items individually is more easier then sell it as a whole package

Don't overprice it by large amounts and it will sell. Even if its a rare item, I sell my stuff below what I bought it for because it's used.

Bah!!! Sell it for what you can get it for, capitalism rocks -- but you have nothing that is rare fwiw so list price should be a guide.

Knuckling under to a wife's whims is not a good precedent to take before the ring goes on IMO -- but you still feel that whole 'love/lust/desire' thing so you'll do what she says; wait a couple years and you'll be like most of us, you'll have a stash reserve that she will never know anything about to keep your toys!!!
