I just had to look up what you were referring to. That sucks though.
I spent the last 2 days working on my mom's Jeep. Thing is beginning to kill me with electrical issues. The climate control module's plug is known to melt and hers did causing the heater to only work intermittiently. So we had to cut the plug and solder some wires on the prongs and splice it in. We spent 2 day trying to figure out how to get it out and today actually soldering. Ended up having to do it in the car in the passenger foot well because we couldn't get the other wire out.
On top of that her windows and mirrors and locks aren't working either. So we took off the door panel and made sure everything looked ok in there. Just as I was about to give up I noticed the door light came on when someone hit the window up button behind the driver. So after some investigation it turns out if someone behind the driver holds up the window button the door gets power and everything works. If not no power which means no windows mirrors or locks. So we took off that panel and everything looked ok there. Unfortunatly I am not good at tracing down electrical issued in cars so I may have to send it in to the
shop.
Once we get that fixed we just have to replace the power steering pump and trace down an evaporative leak (possibly another
shop job) I'll tell you after having soo many electrical issues with her car as much as I love my Jeep I don't think I will buy another one.
