Got a tit bit of info from some old school dudes..
I saw someone with a #1057 from (vapor kings) old GG seller and yes it was aluminum. I enquired about this to the previous owner Brad Gruss.. here was his reply..
(((( I also bought #889 which was nickel. What happened was Imeo must have sent the first batch of nickel plated out for plating somewhere 850ish-1000ish and had sent guessing 1000-1100 to Rob without having them plated at the same time, so there are about 100 aluminum to my best guess mixed in the nickel series. that batch also had the air control ring that had grooves in it also. ))))
So just wanted to add this info just in case someone comes here all confused with say number 1036 and it's all aluminum ggts. They'll think that the Nickel has rubbed off..
Also this was something that I didn't know and could be helpful.
The first 150ish GGTS that were made had no holes at the venting cap sides.. only 3 holes at the bottom.
The next batch had 4 tiny holes in the side of the venting cap that also had 3 holes at the bottom.
Anyway always searching for new info and catching up with some of the old members is very interesting. The stories they have are hilarious about how everything came to be. Imeo's old You-Tube channel from the days of the Nano and the Grant.
Anyway thats all.. nothing that needs adding to the list but just some information.

you are right on this skiba, youtube is our friend. At least we know the dates of when we had GG constructions in our hands!

i think the info have to come into a list, Skiba .... I am working on one now and try to make it more clear and easy to read. Searching and digging for info about the gg is a kind of puzzles But i may have found a way to it. The list we have now is based on the serialnumber from 1- 4-5000 and shows where the changes came. If we start with another view, and base it on the changes in the engravings and metal as the main type of GG (stealth and ggts) and call them GG1, GG2 and so on. There are some basic changes in the engravings. Starting with wings and GG in one line, and sernumber, then we have wings upside and GG on the side of the tube, and different size of wings. Later we have by Imeo and "by Imeo", and inside all this we have some To my friend, and even more small varieties. All in all up to now i think we will find 6 or 7 different tubes.
And then we have all the accessories such as different caps and buttons. But there are so many gg composed of spare parts, that i think we need the list to include what was the original gg as a total. Then we can tell if it is all from Imeos hand as original, or home-made by the spare parts.
I dont know if i can do it, but i have started, so i can post here hopefully during the weekend for a start. And that is why i think we need your info in the list And all other new info from people around

I guess there are GGTB alu/nickel with 901 connector, 510 connector, and both.

aluminium GGTB was made first and it came with 901 connector tho. Then GGTB came at brass with 901 connector. Then we made the 510 connector, then the new 510 connector with 4 cuts on it, then a Steel tube anfd steel caps for existing GGTB customers
Ohh my aluminum GGTB came with 510 connector only, without the cuts like shown in the wiki diagram.
Probably it has went thru a several owner and some previous owner have just lost them.

I made 2500 justGG, 2000 SS and 500 brass Skiba. But engraver didnt put them in order so the SS are not 1-2000 and brass 2001 -2500.

i do not claim this to be the truth, but it is the history of GGTS as far as i have managed to put things together. It is not easy
