Well, I did just order my Nano and you said it would ship from you on Monday...any chance I could get the brass end caps on it? I love the look! If there is an additional charge, what is it?
For myself, I'm no inventor...Everytime you come up with something, I think to myself
"wow! Look at that! NOW it's the best it can be!!" And then you come up with something else that adds just a little more "cool"
It's so much fun watching the gorgeous GG's evolution!

Thats how I want my GG slim to look that simble is sweet looking. maybe ill get that and have the GG in ancient greek. I figure if its from Greece why not have that feel to it as well. the brass makes it look hand made beautiful work. My father hand carves real size birds. They look so real that most people think there stuffed birds. so i grew up to see the beauty in everything.
Yes, I agree...I love the real handcrafted look too. And I will always pay more for it. Sometimes I feel as though handcrafted isn't appreciated here in the US. I myself enjoy knitting lace by hand, it is my hobby.
But it really makes me appreciate the efforts of others when they make something beautiful with their hands.

I learned to crochet from the wonderful Greek ladies when I lived in Kato Achaia, Greece. I have so many wonderful memories of that time. I'm a leftie and they were so amused at how I eventually learned.
I discovered knitted lace with Niebling and Duchrow a few years ago and am now looking at the knitted lace of Estonia. I was fortunate to get a grand champion on my crochet doily and my duchrow doily.
Wow! Beautiful! I haven't been lucky enough to get a Neibling pattern yet, and they scare me anyway...but make me drool too. I like knitting big things like lace blankets.
I only have pics of one on the web, but I will see about getting some more pictures up tomorrow...getting close to my bedtime

That lace blankie/shawl probably would have taken my lifetime to knit - I am SO slow!!
