GG Slim Parts

I got a first edition GG slim from a friend and have ordered a newer model.
Is it possible to get a new top for my original?
The center atty contact is very loose. The insulator or whatever is in the top piece is almost worn completely out? It has a lot of side to side play in it...

From what I understand, the first gens are handmade so the threads are not exactly the same for each one. I've asked if I could get the lockable switch for my first gen and was told I need to send the whole unit in. I assumed it will be the same for the top cap.
