Here it is w/18650 & kick. Few threads show on center telescope and I removed battery spring but it works - and works well!

I'm curious as to how something that bad is overlooked. Must have missed final inspection before shipment.
I had some scratches on one of mine as well but nothing near that extent and should be able to buff out with a dremel. However, it's not something you expect to have to do on a brand new $220 item.

Guys,

NO GGTSs looked that way when they were sent from us. We would NEVER EVER EVER send out a GG with any sort of defect, we even take the time to hand polish each unit.

I am working as fast as I can to get to every issue that comes up guys.

I have no doubt that you will make it right for the folks who need it Justin and I don't think anyone thinks that you would purposely send defective products but please don't dismiss this completely as a shipping issue. While not as severe, mine has similar markings and I am 100% sure that the damage did not occur during shipping as it was in a plastic baggy which was in the felt bag which was in another plastic baggy which was in a box, none of which showed signs of damage.
So at least in my case, and again, I know it was not on purpose, it was shipped with the marks on it.

I only tell you this to help you look at all possible reasons that this occurred as I am sure that it is a big inconvenience for you as well as your customers.

It was exactly the same with mine. No signs of damage on the packaging. Anyway, I have now submitted a ticket
