OK, I'm going to take a guess on something here. I just looked at the pix of Imeo holding the GG. With the way he is holding it, yes, it makes sense to have the switch at the bottom.

I think what's happening is that we are all used to the top of our hand being at the top of the battery, so that makes sense to put the switch there. But I just tried holding my pen at the bottom (as in Imeo's pic) and it did feel awkward mainly because the pen is long and thin and holding it at the bottom just feels very "imbalanced".

But, it looks like Imeo is saying with the size and shape of his, the hand at the bottom is more comfortable....and the weight is more evenly distributed that way. So maybe we have to try to look at it from that angle.

Trust me, I am curious about this too because the main problem for me with the SD was the placement of the switch. I just couldn't seem to get an even pressure with it so it just wasn't working for me. So I don't want to make the same mistake twice.

Someone needs something about that same size, with a similar weight distribution, to test and see how holding it near the bottom like that feels. Because not for nothing but "guy hands" might not have a problem holding it that way but I'd like to be sure it's geared for the "girlie hands" too :D

And no offense, but as I learned with the SD, just because Imeo likes holding it that way doesn't mean it will be comfortable for me. So it would be nice if someone could test something similar beforehand to get "the feel" of it with the switch in that position.

Otherwise, I guess we just take Imeo's word that with the size, shape and weight of the GG, the switch is in the most comfortable spot.

Or, he could always have his wife hold it and see if that's how she would put her hands :p

I sure know what you mean lu....the position of the button would make a huge difference to how much you enjoy using it, if it isn't in the position that is the most comfortable for the way you like to hold it yourself.

imeo... this is the magnum mod that I made from madog's video....

the switch is right under my "pointer" finger.. and it is in approximately the position one would hold it while vaping.. with it fitting fully in the palm there would be no weight issue...

and you mistake the suggestion for a "demand" (for lack of a better word)..

as stated.. it's a suggestion based on the way most "switched" ecigs have the switch.. your location can be easily adjusted to and may even be more comfortable :)

1) women cant hold it like this

2) For women and for the men. If you keep it that way, you dont see anything fromk the cig, especially the 2 surprises I have

Look my pictures to see what I mean.

Hi Sam thanks for the reply, I will give 4 GG to test. The people will take them know who they are. So they will make a review. They are men and women so we will see what they will say. My wife said that the upper button is uncomfortable at all. The weight is all at the botton and she cant hold it.

Oh,b the size of GG is excactly her palm

I will not do it pete because almost all of you have atomizers, carts liquids or batteries. It will be a mistake to charge the people with something they have already or something they can find it cheaper. Not a presentation box, it costs too. But if the people want ok.

Iken your GG will comes in my hands in about 4-5 days and I will send it to you.

Smokin the same for you.

Aldo we have talk, I dont forget.

And a GG for someone who does not want to undercover his name.

In trying one of my other manual switches, I realized what the problem is for me....and perhaps why it didn't feel right with the screwdriver either. The fact is, I tend to use my thumb when I push on the button. That is actually the easiest (and most comfortable) position for me. Since I can't take a pic, maybe y'all can picture it....the button, up at the top, facing toward me....my hand wrapped around it with my thumb on the button.

So I tried using that same button facing away from me and using my forefinger and honestly, it feels weird. I'm not saying I couldn't get used to it but using my thumb just comes a lot more naturally.

And now I see why I had so many problems with the SD. With the switch on the bottom, I certainly couldn't use my thumb. I tried every finger possible...even tried 2 hands so I've have more control....and it still wasn't working for me. Now I think I know why that was. Interesting.

Just couldn't put my finger on it then (or should I say, thumb?):lol::lol:

So I think it's going to end up being a matter of personal preference....and what actually feels comfortable for each of us. I just tried my pen again, imagining the button at the bottom and using my thumb. Because the pen is so long, it still seems imbalanced to me.

Maybe it wouldn't be so with the size of the GG....don't know....but I know I would need some space down there to allow for the size of the thumb to comfortably hold and press that button.

.

Imeo I was just thinking if the GG works really well...you might get a lot of people who want to buy it as their very first e-cig and they will want it to arrive already to go rather than have to shop around for extra's like atomizers and batteries before they could even use it ......but I guess it all depends on whether you are planning to make a business out of it or not.

I got my Bastage Magnum out this morning and the switch is at the end. I pretend the switch is were GG is and it would be perfect. Lu, using your thumb would work near perfect. Perfect for thumb holder would be almost half way up.

My Magnum is the larger and heavier e-cig I own. The switch near the atomizer would feel weird in my hand. I love Bastage Magnum, but hate that switch on the very end like
the Screwdriver. To me GG switch should work fine, were it is.
