Hi, Imeo! What's about a tank extension for Tilemahos V2 like for the Ody? Would be nice, to have higher capacity if needed
we can do that but a little later blue. I am now making Tilemahos V2-Penelope v4 mini and spares for preorders. I am full!! lol
I finally placed an order for a GG drip tip, among other things. One question: on ESG site, the pictures of drip tips show that they (drip tips) are without o rings. Is it possible that they are shipped without o rings?!!!!!
P.S.: in my humble opinion, the lack of an integrated drip tip on Tily v2 is not good. The o ring between the cap and the mouth piece must prevent leaks from upper side; so, the friction between the mouthpiece and the o ring is big. Even a two-o-ring drip tip (from KFL+) cannot rotate the mouth piece when the cap is fully closed.

its not a good practice Beco. I dont want to charge people for items that they may dont need. But if they need them, they can buy them separate. They are very very cheap as you see. 9 euros for a cnc engraved SS drip tip and 6 euros for clear tank are almost like China products
agree with everything you said Imeo ... no need to foce selling a combo when users do not actually need everything .... However, offering the combo items instead of separate one has some benefits: as a matter of fact, most of the spare parts comes at almost random time ... We rarely can get all items in a basket at the same time, because they're rarely all available at the same time ... the consequence is an increase of shipping budget
As much as I like all the options and flexibility GG lines offers, I dislike the huge money I gav to Fedex, UPS and the likes
Just received my tilemahos v2 with clear tanks and drip tips. Looks amazing on my esterigon but as someone mentioned it would be nice if we could get a cap with no afc in the future for esterigon.
cap was on preorders on Spanish GG shop Seek. But dont worry, I am making a lot more than preorders
Imeo I just received my V1 clear tank and the drip tips for my V2 tilemahos's. The drip tips look fantastic, they appear to be very popular with everyone. So i had a thought are the drip tips so popular because they have "GG" engraved on them ? I think so.
So I have a question can all the Tilemahos V1 and Penelope juice control / mouthpieces have the "GG" engraved on them also.
I believe as a trial you could engrave "GG" on the pre-order batches that you are making for The GG store Spain at the moment (note I have 2 V2 juice control / mouthpieces) on order just now. If it was possible them when I received them i could photograph them and share the pics with the forum to get an opinion.

I've noticed that Tilemahos produces much more flavour consistently than Penelope. Is it just me? I'm guessing it has to do with the size of the chamber.

Apologies if my question was confusing. What i was suggesting was can any of the mouthpiece / juice controls be engraved with "GG" like the new drip tips have

thats what I am saying alan. The juice controls of the new batch are already made, so we cant engrave them. But Tilemahos and Penelope have their engraving already to their bases, so an engraving on juice control would be too much and also it will not be in line with base's engraving like the drip tips that turn in every direction you like
I just received the GG engraved drip tip and it fits and works perfectly.
I don't know if I must start a new thread, but I have a question: how do you guys do your coil and wick setups on Tily v2? I started with 2.5mm ID Kanthal A1 28 awg coils, at around 1-1.3 ohms, with the wicking method shown by Imeo in one of his videos. Then, I slightly changed the wicking according to Bishopheals, that is splitting the wick's ends in half and tucking the lower half in the well, the upper half been in the groove. For now, my conclusion is that is veeeeeery hard to obtain dry hits from Tilemahos. The juice "transportation" works perfectly.
With Titanium wire (I have 28, 30 and 32 awg from ESG) I have mixed feelings. To be honest, I didn't notice significant improvement in flavor as opposed to Kanthal. But, this will be the wire of choice for VIR.
Sometimes, when I change the coil, even though I make the same coil, I notice a partial lack of flavor. I don't know why. I tried touching coils, spaced coils, etc. For no reason, sometimes it happens. I am usually a single coil guy.
So, what kind of builds do you find that work very well with Tilemahos v2?
