Sprayberry you had one of the GG's where the Batteries Failed?

Was this because of the known faulty switch or because of one of the poor connections within the unit?

When you sent back the GG how much did you pay for shipping to get the faulty GG repaired?

did you also have to pay Shipping for the Defect within the Switch or did you have both defects repaired at once?

Did you ask for a replacement/repair or Were you just given a different model without request?

Have you used the Different model that you recieved or are you worried it has the same defect?

Have you noticed any of the major defects with this model that were apparent with the other?

Just wondering....

I had the GG it blew up burnt up I don’t know? Imeo replaced it with a brand new
GGT with no extra cost. You can’t ask for better than that. Iam sure he is right and
it was faulty batteries. I don’t think there is any thing wrong with this new GGT
except it can’t stop me from using the wrong batteries or putting them in wrong
I just need to stay with the simple S-hit.

Thanks

I can answer some of your questions ride

where did you hear about faulty switch? No one never said that. Also who said something about poor connection?

It was not a faulty GG but faulty batteries, I said it before.

There was no switch defect, (I just said it again in case we forgot it). What do you mean by "both defects"? I only see one and thats the button issue, thats why I recalled them.

He asked for a repair and I gave him a new one as a gift. He accept it.

I am sure he used it at least once, its a new toy. If he worried it had the same defect by faulty batteries again maybe he did. You cant control them. But the holes in front cap will save him from an explosion from faulty batteries.

He can answer this question alone

nice to see you ride me:)

Non-protected batteries can blow up easier?

From heat? I just ordered some, but I'm not sure if they were protected or not. I just thought(simple thinking) that if they went to low in a charge they would not recharge.

Anyway to make the GG protect itself from non protected or protected? That would be a good update.

Read up. There's a reason I was tickled I could use RCR123a's on the GGT, other than the fact I have a ton of them.

I do not think those batteries are protected.

These are the ones I have just bought.

DealExtreme: $5.08 Ultrafire 3.6V 880mAh LC 16340 Protected CR123A Battery 2-Pack

Re the 17335 this one says its protected.

FIREWORM 1000 mAh 17335 Protect Battery x 2 - eBay (item 320410146935 end time Sep-08-09 00:58:33 PDT)

I just love these creative battery names. Why not just call it Explodingworm and UltraExplosion.. I never want to associate batteries with fire :| maybe that's just me..
