No problem. Hope you are able to get it straightened out. When I asked if it was aluminum I meant the GGTS. But again I can't say for sure it won't work because I don't have an adapter.

As for your issue after re- reading the whole thread last night it is obvious that the button isn't the issue so I would just leave that alone. If it was the button it wouldn't work with the carto attached directly to the connector cap. That being said if it fires without the adapter then you are losing your connection somewhere either between the adapter and carto or connector and adapter. That is why I recommended starting from the carto end. If you see the floating pins move while screwing together (first on the adapter then on the connector cap) then you know contact is being made.

And again I highly recommend getting at least a cheap multimeter. They are one of the best tools to have around for vaping.

Good luck

Hi Fright,
It fires with the carto if it is hooked directly into the connection but when attached to the adapter, it will not fire. I tried it again today, adjusting the firing pin of the ggts till it pushed the adapters brass firing pin up higher. It must be between the carto and adapter... The GGTS I have is stainless if that helps. Definitely, i need a multimeter for sure, will buy one soon. :)

Its fixed! The problem was the brass firing pin in the adapter that was not making the connection like you guys suggested! I was fiddeling with the brass firing pin pushing it all the way until the carto pushed it further out, then I pushed the adjustable firing pin on the GGTS until it was as far up toward the adapter. I screwed on the parts until hand tight and I felt resistance between the parts. Once the brass pin was in the right place, the GGTS fired up. I believe the brass pin was sitting too far down and not making good contact with the carto... Thank you Imeo and everyone at ECF for all your help, you guys are awesome! :)
