By the way I checked the voltage drop tonight
with telescope .3 V
with solid rings almost .5V
And the rings where the ones I've had resting since I last polished my JGG, so they were untarnished.

it is because the spring in the negative connection is not compressed to the maximum.

Intresting??
Wonder why it so,I have some thought I need to verify more.

My wife brass are with the AW and they are a bit shorter the the Black Efest IMR's I'm using....?
I think that with the AW it's as aal said.
But with the black Efest IMR's is not so,becouse they compress the spring all the way,and still
It's hard to screw it close totaly.

Hmmm that's very intresting and explain a lot why pepole have diffrent expirience....

Ok I think that if the spring is compress totaly and tube rings as well - that's the best, and that's what I have on my setups,
And it does vape better this way! Much better then with telescope only.

That's also explain why I have much better hit and drive with the black Efest ..!

But if one using short AW that don't compress the spring totaly he maybe better vape with telescop??
Still more experiments need to check this!

Itshak I already did what you suggested. And you are right with what you said above. If I am able to compress the spring all the way I am sure better or same conductivity with using solid mode. I did it once and unscrewed the CT pin screw so that it pushes more the spring. And yes it does make a difference. but the pin would be a lot pushed and risks falling. you can always use a spacer also but that's not always safe.

I wonder soul if it will stay the same if u unscrew a bit the CT center post nut,and make it higher
To make sure it will lower the CT contact a bit so it will push the battery down when you connect an atty.
As with telescope???

And only then close all tube and see the measures?

I'll try it tonight when I'm home.

Regardless I'm still buying the 650 tubes. It's just as pretty as the telescope but in its own way (I was against it previously but it grew on me).
More importantly much less maintenance involved!!

From all this I figure what best to do with the 18350.
I tried this, and do some more, but already feel it drive better,
when battery push all the way down.

I screw center post of CT out,and connect atty to it,
and make sure the contact of CT is lower,by 1mm or 2mm.

Only then I screw it to the mod, (so it won't be able to edjust itself)
up to point it's a bit hard to make compleat seal, with the engraved tube.

Put the switch in higher position,
(When locking knurled ring is a bit below threaded tube of switch 0.2mm -/+ in open position)

And remove the SS cover of negative center post!

Hmm.. well it does vape better, finely.

Will see if I be able to stay on this setup for few days??!

Well it is interesting.
As for once it will deflect the coating rebellion forces to the outer rim

Also we should remember that this coating
will not stay perfect on moving parts for long.

So it may be tinny bit better when new,but when kept moving and grinding day after day
I think in very short time it will be un effective.
If it was solid silver spring it was something els though.

From the data bits we have on proteus it's look like Imeo taking us all
To springless era?? If I understood all that posted!

And for that new button will be need to design ??? Maybe ??
One thing is for sure, the year of 2014 will be one more very interesting GG year.
