I don't have a Kick yet either. I DO have and use a reusable safety fuse though. I am a dumbfcuk and it saved my bacon once already. Wasn't thinking and dropped two 18350 batteries into my CCTS thinking it would be "sufficient" to fire a 3.0Ohm carto. Obviously I blew the carto immediately upon firing, but the batteries and my mod are totally fine.

So I just toasted a carto. Lesson lernt!

I was actually gonna order it for $49.99 from them...got to the cart and it said $31.99... I was like "Oh happy day!" rofl.

This is my first mechanical mod. I'm going to use it straight at first, but plan to buy a kick for it eventually.

Yes, with these mechanicals u can't go wrong.
They give out very satisfying VTF. I don't own a certain P-vari(sic!), which I hear is too good too, but my Sig.#8 offers me everything, in every dept. of vaping, thus I don't see/understand what that P-vari could do better.

Besides, these mechanicals r not typically run-of-the-mill 'clones' - they r quite well made, finished aesthetically/professionally and bloody looks good! Again, I don't own a Poldiac or a Chi-You, but given the quality of these Chinese Mech. mods - I don't understand what those Greeks or Koreans could have done better, aside fleecing us irrevocably/irresponsibly.

These Chinese pipebombs perform as good as they look... way good. And with my experience thru the #8 I'm sacrosanct the incoming KTS-GGTS would match-up as well. Which is what the gal @ Hoosier's also echoed. So, I'm excited undoubtedly!

Yes, it's possible that rather than a low price indicating inferior build quality (as some have suggested with these Chinese mods) that the low price is simply indicative of the Chinese trying to break into this mech mod market by slashing their profit margins drastically instead. Will they always offer stainless steel and brass with quality machining for under $40? I remember when "Hyundai" cars were under $8000 new and were considered cheap and disposable ;) While still not perhaps on the same level as BMW, Mercedes and the like they now sell cars upwards of $30,000 with 300hp, sports tuned suspension and Brembo brakes.

I was afraid of that exact scenario, which is why I planned to wait. I didn't want to drop $45 on something I could potentially not use. If I like the vape without a kick...why buy one?

I don't use a 'kick', neither I'd need one I think, b'coz my Mech. Mod just vapes fantastically anyway... so why ponder!

Besides, there was a member in this thread, or the Sigelei one, who 'sold' his kick in
the classies once he fired his Mech. Mod. These r that good.

U had been lucky, Sir! Very lucky. This is a big No-No on all the sites, including the vendor's.

That said, I did try mine with 2 x 18350s stacked, just for kicks! And nothing happened
except a gurgling & 'warm' vape. Puffed a few and returned back to the std config.

I have a ProVari, and love it, but I can't go very low on the ohms without it throwing an error code at me. However, I do love VV being able to adjust to taste etc. I just want a mech mod for my RBAs mostly (which is what I use 95% of the time anyway..).

Yep, I see that.
But a $225 kit for those 5% of ur time?

Yeah. I was. Shoulda played the lottery that day or something.
Or not. While I don't believe in "luck" I AM paranoid with delusions of cosmic persecution, so I figured
that was my "free one" and pushing my luck any further would result in getting bitten in face.
;)

I primarily use the China GG and Sigelei #8 and #13 and all perform about the same . . . very well. I use sub-ohm coils, so the kick wouldn't work. As for getting the same vape from the first to the last vape, sub ohm coils seem to handle the change in battery voltage without a corresponding change in vape quality, nothing like the noticeable change on a VW mod going from 8 watts to 10 or 12W. When I start to notice a change, I swap out the battery. I put these batteries into a VV mod to check the charge, and it's usually run down to 3.4-3.5V, so it's time to recharge them anyway.

I have golden brass Chi Chi but i have a lot of missfire ,what do you suggest to fix this issue ? Thanks.

Not to be rude, but read the thread, it contains a wealth of information about improving conductivity and switch efficiency, plus many options for modification to improve the formentioned. :)

To improve the conductivity you need to remove the resistance from everywhere lowering the total resistance of the transfer of the common ground, to do so anything that impedes the flow of loose electrons is to be stripped and or removed and or replaced with a malleable material that both can with stand the heat and has sufficient durability to be used in electronic cigarettes... Or to get a less technical answer you can read the thread and find a little bit of sand paper and where to use it.

This is not a short problem. It is poor contact - switch to pin. I can't tell you how to correct it until mine arrive in a few weeks. However it should be a simple fix. Make sure your lock is all the way off for maximum depression and make sure the switch base is screwed all the way into the tube.

Light/limited/loose contact causes heat to build at that point.

ETA - could also be poor contact between the switch pin and outer switch area as the switch is simple grounding the negative to the tube.
I ground the contact pin and the battery cap pin at the point of contact and the hot switch dilemma was solved.

KTS-GGTS, aka China GG, aka CCTS...
Received my vape-mail today, yayyyy!

Picked-up from the mailbox. Just a light, small envelope 7x5 size.
Can feel the bubble wrap inside. Neat job by Hoosier Vapes.

UNBOXING and FIRST IMPRESSIONs

Ordered the China GG and a Steel Drip Tip. Each is individually bubble wrapped.
Has the Invoice and two Business Cards inside.

Opened each bubble wrap. The contents of each come in their clear plastic pack too.

Wow! Nice and Shiny. The first impression is too good... awesome - feels classy.

Back-to-Back

Individual parts/components. Quite well made. Strong & sturdy.
The Centre Tube (telescoping section) is the lightest, feels like a sheet-metal work.
Rest of the tubes (top & bottom) r pretty strong. All BRASS.
The 510 head section and the bottom cap r very heavy.
Unlike reports elsewhere, the bottom spring is NOT SOLDERED, rather "flush-fit" into the post.

Here's both the heads separately.
Note the firing switch. The end protruding inside has a nice wedge post. This one is strong.
There's no way this thing could ever miss the post and misfire.
Also note that the bottom tube has a built-in 'stopper ring' under the Battery,
And the firing pin is above it, beyond the threading for the end-cap.

Top view of the sections.
Note the "airway slits" all around the top cap.
There r eight (8) of them, 4 in the 510 connector and another 4 on the periphery wall.
This device can never give out a tight draw, under any load (juice delivery system).

Thought of showing the spring loaded section once again.
Note that the spring actually goes "inside" the bottom post. It's not "over" it.
And the spring is all BRASS, plus very tight. It's not made of a std thin-wire.

Pitted against my Sigelei #8 (in 18350 mode). The CCTS has an 18650 Panny inside.
Note the difference in their firing switches. The CCTS one is more stout.

Took a closer view of the switches.
The CCTS switch indeed has a stronger, sturdier and robust design.
The knurled locking-ring is wider too. Gives added assurance on its durability for sure.

CONCLUSION
Overall, the KTS-GGTS seem very nice. Gives me good feelings. The construction is superb. Some nice machining there. I specifically chose the "dual-tone" model... and I'm thrilled at it's gorgeousness. The gold / chrome combination indeed is stupefyingly beautiful. It has some quality thread-work gone into it. Sliding the telescopic section, as well as fitting the top & bottom caps, is like slicing cheese with a butter knife... smooth. I've vaped the device (with an LR Boge F-16 only) for over 3-hrs now... and it has been quite satisfying. Needless to say, I'm impressed. This is a good-looking, powerful and efficient Mod. A head turner at that!
