Hello

So here's my problem

-My ggts fires only when I screw the bottom on really tight to the point that the battery spring gets scrunched up pretty badly. I tried tightening a little bit until I hear the atomizer hiss but to no avail. It's only until it's torqued in there that the GGTS will hit.

-When I do this the button gets hot though so I can hit it once and after the second hit it starts to burn a little

Measures I have taken

1. I check the atomizer, I screwed it on to an ohm checker to check for
-shorts (none)
-resistance which is at (0.3 ohms)

2. I cleaned the connection between the button and the battery post

3. I checked the 510 connection to make sure it was making good contact

4. I bought a 3 new brass battery springs

5.1 Made sure all connections were tight
5.2 Tried again making sure all connections were not so tight

I am running a
-GGTS COV edition
-Nimbus atomizer twisted dual coil on 28 gauge kanthal
-Cotton wick
-Regular 18650 Efest 2250 IMR battery
-Magnetic button assembly

BATTERY DOESN'T HEAT UP

Ok so my question is how you connect the atomizer. Are you using collector tank with adapters or are you using a stealth cap? If you are using the collector tank and adapters try removing the collector tank and adapters and screw the atomizer directly onto the connector cap. If you are using a stealth cap back off the center pin screw the atomizer then tighten the center pin and install. See if this helps any.

Update: I dissembled everything down to the o-rings and cleaned it with some isopropyl alcohol (EXCEPT THE BUTTON ASSEMBLY because I cleaned that already previously) put it back together same problem persists.

--> Before I threaded the button back in I took apart the magnetic button to change the pressure of the switch, if you guys have the magnetic button you know what I'm talking about

--> I lost a magnet (DAMN IT, RIGHT?)

--> I had to use the normal battery spring which I boxed up wherever the hell a long time ago

1. Burning button completely gone

2. Still have to torque the battery in pretty hard but 85% (really tight compression) as opposed to 105% (maybe denting the damn battery) before

IS IT POSSIBLE THE MAGNETS LOSE SOME KIND OF TRAIT OVER TIME THAT CAUSES PROBLEMS?

I tried so hard to like the magnetic button, but I didn't. I would get misfires all the time.. didn't work as good as a brass spring in my opinion. And also... not sure how tight you mean, but I screw my battery in pretty tight and snug.. this definitely compresses my spring and scrunches it up, but they are cheap so every once in a while I'll just replace it if I need to. I like it all screwed in very tight! I can't speak for everybody, but I just assumed this was standard procedure.

in your first post you said that your resistance is 0,3 ohm Tium. That means that your atomizer is broken and produce a short, thats why you have hot button. Just put another atomizer. Also, dont forget to clean the threads of the telescope and of course the internal threads of the engraved tube.:)

OK OK OK DONT WORRY BISH IS HERE!!! I have the same atomizer as you and not to mention GGTS.

I make .3 ohms as well on Nimbus. here's the problem. You didn't say what battery you using? Very important because you doing low low low OHMS. wrong battery will heat it up to point burn your fingers off. That said, as for what Imeo says is true there has to be a short in your coil build to get a hot hot pulse. Check the wires not touching base and negative poles as well as positive poles from atomizer.

What I suggest is build a one coil in nimbus 3 wraps of 28 gauge wire and test that if it fires with ease. if it does then proceed making another coil same way make duals and see if you get same problem.

As for GGTS you need to scrub contacts with toothpaste and toothbrush. this will restore 100 percent connectivity to your GGTS. As for Batteries for that ohms i would only use Mnke 18650 or orbtronics NCR High Drain 18650 2900PD.

And I received your batteries Bish, thanks a lot for your gift buddy!:)
I have to say that these batteries are exellent. I noticejust like Greek seller did that these batteries dont discharge so easy. Maybe its because they are much bigger than AW but they work wonderful
