SS GGTS 2012 SS 6 Sided Button & SS Endcap Issue

How weird. My GGTS fires every time with 2 LiFePo batteries but not with any of my AW IMRs. Before you say it. It's not the batteries. The work in other devices and they have been cleaned since I discovered this.

Im guessing I'm not getting a good contact with the switch. Cause I can not get a 3.7 battery to power a LR atty. WTF? I've cleaned the switch numerous times even sanded. I've got a brass post and a SS pin and I'm 90% sure that is what's causing the problem. There is pitting on my SS pin. I'm guessing that is from the different metals making contact.

I need that brass pin.

I am not using the GG brass pin. I use a ordenary brass screw with a flat top, it fits & works perfect.

Where did you score this screw? if you dont mind.

It literally will not fire at all with a single AW?

If that's the case I'm completely stumped. I can't remember the last time I had even a whiff of a mis-fire on any of mine.

Occasionally it will fire with a single battery. It's hit or miss though. It's not just the IMRs; I've tried other brands, other size. 3.7 seems to be the problem. I'll breake out the multimeter when I have time.

I got mine in a DIY store here in Germany.
My screw looks like one of these

I've put one like it in my button. Mine is not a brass screw, but some other metal.
I've ground down the head with a dremel, to get the right thickness.

It works a lot better than my original ss pin, with almost no misfires and a harder hit, so i'll get by with this until i get my new button and brass axis.

Yep, it's the switch that's causing the problems for me. It seems it is adding 25 ohms to the mix.
