Giantomizer on p18?

Has anyone tried to mod the giantomizers to work on the P18? I haven't bought one yet, but it looks like the threads don't stick out like they do on a standard 510 fitting.

If anyone has purchased one does this look like somthing easily remedied by pipe cutters or would you have to go with a 510 to 510 adapter?

You could use this. You could just screw it into the P18 and with the recessed connector on the P18 it would only stick out a little, but just enough to get the Giantomizer on there.

to me is too short
I think it is better with these 510>EGO

I've read a few using adapters to raise them up off. Adapters can be a hit or miss affair as you are introducing a couple more contact areas for the electricity to flow through. I haven't ever tried cutting the collar off myself though...
