GIFT CERTIFICATES: how the heck do i use them on the new site?

I just got a gift certificate from my husband, and I'm trying to use it on the new site and I have no idea how to do this! I'm trying also to use a coupon code, so I put the coupon code in, added it, and then put the gift certificate code in and not only did it not recognize it, but it also took my coupon code away! My gift certificate also has a pin and there's nowhere to put that, either. What am I doing wrong? I posted on the FB page but Audrey couldn't help me. Can someone here help? I'd like to use this while the sale is going on and I don't know if I'll have time to call on Monday before noon.

I think the old gift certificates are not compatible with the new site; if you contact CS (I suggest a phone call), they should be able to assist you in 'trading that in' for a new one that works on the new site.

Add edit: If you let Mark aka Dohsma know I'm sure they will give you the sale prices even if the sale ends.

It's actually a brand new one, purchased on Thursday, so that's not the problem.

That's very odd Ms. Skittish. Hopefully Mark sir will chime in on it in a bit, first time hearing of someone not being able to use the new gc's with a sale. Heard people having issues with the old gc's not working with the new site, but that's it.

Skittish, if Mark didn't get back to you today just PM him with your order and GC info. Nothing ships over the weekend anyways and I am positive he will take care of it on Monday. Honestly I hope Mark is out partying his brains out with his wife and having the time of his life away from work this weekend.

I work at 11 on Monday so I'll just call when they open up. I've never made an order over the phone so I'm a little weirded out by it, but I'll just do it that way. Oh well. I talked to some other people who say gift certs don't work on the site either and you have to call. I'm just glad I wasn't missing something on the site. It seems like that should have been fixed by now if there's a glitch in the way that gift certificates work.
