I have fallen in love with the gingerbread (old version). I don't have very much and was wanting to order more but I understand they have changed vendors and the taste is different now. Is it a very noticeable difference. If so, in what way? I really, really want more of the version I have, or at least a close version.

Just got word from a customer that the only thing that was missing was that he added sweetener to the liquid and VOILA, they were completely stoked with it. I think with a lot of recipes, folks should get over the aversion to sweetener as it really does bring out the flavor in a lot of these recipes.
Yeah, I'm so glad. Does it do any good for someone to put (add sweetener if needed) in the comments section? I don't have enough experience to know weather to add sweetener or not and would really like the cook to help make the decision for me. After all, the chef knows the recipe and the taste better than I do.
Geoff - maybe the descriptions could include "sweetener recommended" when the master chef thinks it makes a big difference.
What liquid sweetener are people using? I keep hearing "add sweetener" but I can't find anything specific on what to add and where to get it.
