I resemble all of the remarks so far. I NEVER intended to quit analogs, just thought e-cigs would be a cool new toy. Within a week of palying with vap'n I had let go of 'real' tobacco entirely.

I can see a day coming when I will no longer be vap'n. The way technology keeps advancing, I truly believe something will pop out at us that will replace e-cigs and make them look like bear skins and stone knives. Only time will tell, but for now I got 'em ~ so I'm vap'n.

Smoking was the only thing that allowed me to take breaks as needed throughout the day.

I was never going to stop smoking, until I found vaping.
So yeah, I stopped smoking now.

But I can promise you I will NEVER stop vaping.

Please don't let anything screw this thing up. Right now, it feels like one of those "too good to be true" things that are true. It feels like a gift. Health is obviously the most important gift, but, my god, it is sooo incredibly wonderful not the have the stink and the stain and the cost. Vape on!

I've been done vaping for about 3 months now. It wasn't an absolute goal, but I did find that I could vape less and less (after getting down to 0 nic first for a few months) and then decided to just try and stop. It just seemed silly not to try and quit at that point -- the worst that would happen is that I'd go back to 0 nic vaping.

I also liked the idea of finally being beholden to nothing -- that is, not needing some sort of fix (even if it was just 0 nic vaping). I must say, it feels good not to need to spend money on something when I don't want to. It also leaves me one step further removed from cigarettes in that I no longer engage in that hand/mouth inhale/exhale activity.

Also, I notice a further improvement in respiratory health for being off the vapour.

There are good reasons to quit, but those reasons will be weighted differently for each person. If you're off tobacco, then you're in a good spot. At that point, experimenting with reducing nic/quitting, etc. can be done leisurely and with no pressure -- if you fail, you're just back to vaping. I would encourage everyone to try if only to gain some insight to what they actually need -- you might be surprised -- I was.

I'd like to think I'll quit but I appear to vaping more than I smoked. It took vaping to quit smoking and and I'll never smoke again that much I'm sure. Again I'd like to quit vaping someday only cause I hate giving into any addictions be they big or small and even if they are not really bad for me. I think I'm heading in that direction cause I just ordered my first no nic juice. No matter what ever happens I'll always owe vaping for quiting smoking.......and for that alone vaping will always have my appreciation!
