#1 My sympathies for those that have lost fur kids. I know that heart ache also. I guess most of us do. I was fortunate to find a vet that made house calls so he came to the house when it was time to help them cross over the bridge.

@Uncle: uh, WOW! What a story. Reminds me of the recent news story about a deaf guy that was beaten heavily by police for no other reason than he couldn't hear them say "freeze" out of his view while moving boxes out of his abode, all because of a nosy neighbor that called the cops and suspected burglary. BTW, he didn't do anything wrong whatsoever.

I tend to face palm less when reading about these events than when experiencing them in person. "Long story short", WOW!

@other topic: I've typed a few paragraphs on the subject of pets that have passed, and I'm done editing. To put it simply, it sucks, don't get me started. Re-edited 5 times....

1- have not read back yet, but at work. Weird event this morning, there was 3 cops blocking most of the road, and a dead dude laying in the middle. It was quite fresh as the fire truck was still heading that way and they had nothing covering him yet.

Chat- Yes in the Army we are famous for the hurry up and wait attitude, but I have not played big Army in a while. My Dr. is quite upset at my command, and she is going to JAG to light a fire under them. I also have a DAV and JAG appointment next week, and my JAG is upset at how my command is dragging this along way too slowly.

mornin TF!

i came into work and had a new desktop in my cube!
its still years old, running w7. but much nicer (and larger!?) than our last comps.

this brings up an immediate need to be able to minimize or hide my start bar!!!
the simple drag down doesnt work, right click doesnt work. i know they have the system pretty secure, but why cant i hide the start bar? help!

[my reasoning for this is sound, managers are constantly coming to my desk or walking behind and can see if i have multiple windows open, even worse, is that i D/L mozilla, and dont want to have that icon anywhere where it can be seen, non work related web activity is forbidden]

I have been nodding off sitting on the couch watching House of Cards ever since I got home from work. Gonna be an early night, I guess.

i love HoC!!
just started the second season that i was waiting so impatiently for!
wifey doesnt care for it, so i only watch when they are asleep or away

#5 Whoa, long day! The to-do list is getting shorter, but the increments are so miniscule. At least nobody was injured (severely) in the process.

I'll give it another try tomorrow, may yours be productive and/or pleasant as well.

twisted wire is something i now wanna try. using a drill seems straightforward enough.
do you twist a foot at a time, or inches at a time?
