Uncle, she was fortunate that you were there!!
had she received improper cpr or something similar she could have been badly injured.
glad you made it safely.

why is a diabetic, fresh outta the hospital, not monitoring her food intake and glucose levels?
not to point the finger at her, but it seems like something that should be addressed before travel. js.

All I can tell Ya' - It is not as easy as it might seem and it really depends on a diabetics means of care. . . pills/shots/pump - testing before every meal/daily/every 3 months . . . Also, if they take any other medications . . .

I just so happen to fall under the pills/test every 3 months - Thankfully . . . . But take much more medications then just for diabetes . . .The other problem and what is worse for "Me" is having to force yourself to eat no matter what . . . NOW - While it might be hard for people to believe, since I am a FAT MAN (No really a FAT MAN - not just large and have been most of my life) & am losing weight and girth even though I am not trying . . .There are many times I either do not feel like eating or forget to eat anything for hours (sometimes all day). It is not easy to say the least, especially when YOU DO NOT WANT TO EAT ANYTHING . . .

But - Don't worry if you do not understand - "YOU" WILL - when Ya' get older . . . ;)

Just Sayin' . . .

#2 @LD: you might want to look at a video or two on twisting wire. You can twist a few feet or inches, but I'd start with at least a foot. One foot folded in half will not be 6 inches when done, it may come out closer to 4" depending on how tight you twist it. I usually twist a 4-5 foot piece and end up with ~20-24 inches.

i imagine diabetes as being one of the most difficult ailments/diseases to live with. when every thing you put in your body has to be monitored, and too much of one thing or not enough of another can be the difference between life and death. its a scary reality.

we did a benefit show late last year in which all the proceeds were donated to the local Diabetes county clinic, in doing so, i had to do some basic research for a radio spot i did in regards to the event. what was most shocking to me, was how prevalent and widespread it is, it affects millions and millions, a sizeable percentage of the US populous.

1 - Good Morning Everyone!

Today is hopefully a good day - started out with finding a half filled iclear of Banyan Tree. Kinda made my day cuz all I have are crappy juices. Well some are okay but then all I really have are crappy clearo's to use. I just cleaned a bunch of iclear 16's hoping it'll make a difference. I bought 10 CE4's off of ebay yesterday for $11 figure that can't be beat. I really need to get a handle on my igo-w. I know how to wrap a coil but it just doesn't feel right no matter what I do - not sure what I'm doing wrong, it's very frustrating. Compared to people on YouTube? Wow I'm getting NO vapor what-so-ever!!

Schnarp -- is there a way to twist the wire by hand? All I have is 30 awg and I know that should be fine to use for twisted but no drill!

LD make sure you don't get caught with all of "ECF" windows opened....
Uncle I agree with what everyone else said... I know where you are coming from...it's bad..Growing up with someone who had it...I recall almost all of the events and they are not pleasant....many hospital visits.....
Another thing that comes close it Celiac disease (AKA gluten sensitivity) This is what I grew up with and it still acts up to this day.......Very sever eating issues....It can put me in a coma if I over do it...along with other food allergies....I must always be careful what I eat.....I am still learning about there tricks with food and what they call things that are really gluten...That is not even counting the GMO(no not Glassman) corn & oats....Anything to cheat the system they will try until millions of people get sick.....the whole Lactose intollerance, IBS & IC thing I am researching now I think is a lot of misdiagnosis.....

Rant over....sorry for that but it makes me so angry what they have done to OUR food supply.............
