Believe me, There are Carto tanks and then there are Carto tanks. The old VVV carto tanks are something special!

Oh, just this little ol' Russian 91%. And a Davide BCC and PT3 (but I use PT coils I rebuild myself)

I have seen some really clean looking carto tanks, and I can't imagine that there is much difference in performance from tank to tank, since it's just holding juice around a carto.

I may make one from an old juice bottle just to try it out.

I did it! I FINALLY got a good build on my AGA-T2. It was one of my very early purchases, and I had tried to build it a number of times to no avail. Since I now have a few months more experience with coil building, and understand what I am doing, I wrapped a 28 ga microcoil around a Q-Tip shaft (fit PERFECTLY in the wick hole), 8 wraps. Came out to 1.6ohms, right where I like them. I stuffed with cotton in auto-dripper fashion, and drilled the airhole out to somewhere around 3/32.

It works very, very nicely on my ZMax set at 4.2v. Pics to come!

I've been doin RBA's myself.Wrapping comes pretty easy to me.I'm using 30-32 gauge but I have been using cotton.It came with silica wrapped in the coils but it came out to use cotton.I am considering going back to silica as cotton isn't doin it for me.Duel coils @ 0.8-0.9 ohms is what I'm getting when wrapping.Maybe I need to above 1.0 ohms.?
