#1 Morning all , say what does everyone here use ( if anything ) to help them with building their coils? I see there is a thing called a mico coil jig. I would love to get one of those as my hands cramp easily or they just go numb. ( thank you cervical fusion) Bah...

I think one of these jig things would make it easier??

I don't believe darkzero is making them any longer. Google search keeps pointing to links of just his :)

I did see one person that made something similar out of a block of wood and then cut the heads off screws etc etc. Ya, I'm no where near crafty enough for this or at least I don't think I am.

So any of you use a thing like this? TIA

Time for hot coco

Edit: I did find something on ebay. Not sure if I will get it though. I think I will see if Darkz is still making his as I would rather support an ECF member

I've seen this discussed on a couple of threads and a number of people suggested the:

"Coiling Gizmo Deluxe Econo Winder"
oRG5Ncd.gif

(cost $8.00 - 15.00 depending on where you purchase and it is normally used for making Jewlery) they find very useful that might help Ya' . . . Matter of fact, many different Hobby & Craft stores have it Like Micheal's & JoAnn's (and also these stores have an interchangable 40-50% discount coupon you can use too which brings the price way down - particularly if you go to their store and don't pay for shipping {FYI - Stay away from Hobby Lobby reborn christian business that openly discriminates in their hiring practices but not taking peoples money . . . ) it is on Amazon, at Wally-World, & Staples too . . .

I am now 100% officially OUT of Pinoy Punch.

Please excuse me while I whimper in this corner.

NO NEED TO . . . As I've mentioned "GMO" has product available and someone to ship it out - All you need to do is send him an order via an email and he will get you all hooked up . . .

UGH I'm getting so frustrated with a particular co-worker. I realize that I am in a "new" position although I am not at a "new" company. But I cannot stand people who try and act like they are the "BOSS" when they are NOT THE BOSS! Yes you may have been doing this for a year and I may have been doing it for a month --- YES I UNDERSTAND THAT. But don't act all big and bossy! Especially when I have an idea that makes something easier for all and is just common sense?? And give me the well that's not the way we do it... And then try to tell me about computers ummm your not IT --- UGH I can't stand know it all's!!

Sorry I'm very very annoyed right now and I have no one else to tell -- thank you tree fam for letting me rant, I'm done.

Good morning everyone.

Yes, congrats Blue! I've noticed you have really been raking it in this week! Well done!

Coincidentally, LD, I'm planning to build my first RSST coil today, too. I do wish I had someone around to advise/help me! I keep buying RBAs, and then they sit there because building coils is completely new to me, and, to be honest, not the type of skill that I'm usually good at (wow, that was poorly phrased--let me simplify. . . I'm not in the least mechanically inclined!).

I do want to see if I am able to build it, though, before committing to buy yet another RBA in another co-op.

Thank you Uncle......I am having a rough time this week IRL.....there was an inspection Monday morning...they wanted to come earlier then they asked for on the notice...I was still sleeping....so I got up & allowed them in...then the Jackass reached into my personal items and took MY walking stick & proceeded to use it to test the fire alarm.....I said "Excuse me...that is mine" and he looked at me stunned and then had the nerve to use it anyway saying at the same time well I just need to use it to test the alarm........OMG I couldn't believe the disrespect in my own apartment.........

Well anyway the wins almost make up for RL crap.....
