I had the same concern until I realized that I could get a GLV-XL Mini and add a kick with an 18490/18500, which gives you variable wattage. Thankfully, I saw Barefoot's review. I probably drove Jay and Sara nuts changing my order.

So you basically get a Darwin, except it's in a rock solid housing.

Sizewise, the XL Mini is about the same as the standard GLV-2 yeah? That could work ... I change flavors a lot, but not often enough that it would be annoying to have to pop it open to change the settings. Hmmmm. Time to work some OT.

I guess checking further, I'd recommend that you read this thread first. Apparently the XL mini tube is slightly long for the Kick. I just got mine and haven't had any issues, but I want to be sure that you make an informed decision.

Yeah I just noticed that thread. And read the dimensions on the GLV site. Looks like the XL Mini is actually around .1" longer than the GLV-2. I'll sort it out. It will be at least a month before I allow myself any more major purchases anyways.

Ugh my beautiful pink GLV stopped working... going to Jay and Sara's shop today to see if we can get it to fire. I think it's the resistor or a short somewhere. It's awesome that they're local to me and I don't have to worry about shipping. Wish me luck! I know they'll take care of me.

I still need to get around to ordering a pink GLV for myself!

I pieced together my 'Halloween theme' GLV for this month

It's turned a few heads locally (started a new job that has a high percentage of smokers). I also have a couple people from a musician's forum that I have a long running vaping thread on that have just received new GLV (super minis I believe).
