Glv pictures!!

Kewl.... I'm in the middle of ordering an XL 3.7v, sparkle grannysmith dormant with black endcaps

WOW!!! That is going to look amazing!!! Please post pics of that one! The black is going to make the grannysmith green pop! I've seen the green after I ordered mine and know that before long I too shall have the green in a mini.

it looks purple! is it?

that's actually it's the black lava....for some reason it came out purple-like in the pictures, it's actually a brick-red/maroon, w/ very fine black and red metallic in it, kinda hard to explain

It's a hard color to photograph... here is my Mini in that combo.

Lol! I know the feeling!! I want a orange and black for Halloween. Something for each holiday, day of week, evenings out, the list can go on and on.

It's a hard color to photograph... here is my Mini in that combo.

yeppers bro, i guess w/ the color combo (great minds think alike hehe), those that never see the black lava in person dont realize the color changes in different light, thanks to the different metal flakes in the paint...at times it looks very dark red metallic, other times, it's black cherry/violet metallic or brick red metallic........I remembered this picture but couldnt find it to link in an earlier post, but I did use a link to htdsnjup's picture (post #17 page 2) showing his GLV-2 with black stardust/black lava reversed, next to his all sparkle grannysmith dormant colored super mini one thing though....I"m still trying to get my hands on one of those danged dripshields, everytime i check Empire's webpage, they're out of em and i'm on the list to be notified when they are restocked too lol...(they look so bad@$$ with em on the GLV's)

Yeah it took me a while to get mine... lots of waiting and refreshing the page I know they *should* have stock later today when they reopen the web site.

here are the shields I matched to my minis

one is gunmetal and the other bronze (I think that was what they had them listed as)

and here is the drip tips I've recently matched to them.
