Wow Jay, that is one cool looking mod adaption. Way to think out of the box no pun intended. Can I assume if you already own a GLV-2 you'll sell the box part as a separate unit? I am curious to see how the bottom feeder system would tie in with a preexisting GLV-2 but I'm sure that's all part of the magic, :2cool: and something we'll have to wait for.

Very nice "and marketable" idea........ However, its taken away my interest with losing out on VV and ability to work as a passthru.

I enjoy the ability to adjust vv on the fly as either the batteries start depleting (with a resistor device as opposed to a VR), or on the cart/carto/drip juice hit strength level. Have yet to try any "feeder" type myself so can't comment on that.

I'll have to see how this progresses and make a better "personal" call into more of the finalizing stages.

As far as battery life, and switching voltage goes.... In case you didn't know, the bottom battery drains first. If at the end of a day you need a little more hit, just swap the batteries around. I get around 16-18 hours of great vapor doing that. I think this is the case with any mod that uses x2 batteries on top of each other.:)

I'm not seeing how the bottom feed option would work on an existing GLV2 without some sort of modification to the PV to allow the juice to feed to the atty. However it would be so easy to make it a top fed juicer with a piece of tubing and an attachment at the top of the atty.

Is there something I'm missing that would allow this to bottom feed an existing GLV2?

Ok so I'm not sure if this is the GLV3 but I like the idea and this will be coming. Thanks to our friend Russ we now know that the GLV 5V will handle any ohm atty/ carto you can toss at it. This makes VV and or a voltage switch a non issue IMO. A USB charger/ pass through, is another thing i can cut to keep cost down. The idea came from a guy that works at the shop where we have are parts made. I designed it to be a box mod hybrid. I wanted to see what you guys think.

: The GLV is removable, and is also the lid for the box.
: Juice feed is a bottom style
:Holds 10 mill bottle, with room for a couple attys inside the box.
:This design allows me to retro fit older GLV2s .

From the looks of it I would say the bottle is upside down. Continuios feed? Dont know for sure. Push the bottle and it feeds thru a tube to the atty. The tube connected to the tip of the bottle then the tube is connected to a fitting under where the atty goes. Thats where the juice will be. No more dripping!! Thats why I love bottom feeders!!!!! Just squeeze and vape! Like I said Jay. Im ready for this now!!! Oh and I want the GLV on the door!

The upside down bottle does make sense if the feed device is engaged when the GLV-2 is slid down into the unit but that would also need for the replacement of the new adjustment screw with one that has a center hole and a new connection pin with a center hole also. It would work but would mean sending in your GLV top piece again to be reworked if you bought just the feed system.

Or at least a head-cap modification...

I"m just guessing but note that Jay says "me", meaning he can retro-fit existing GLVs. Doesn't sound like we will be able to order it and just slap it on all by ourselves. Although that would be sweet.

Regardless, Im glad I have two so I won't be without one during the retro-fit.

The more I look at this design, I love it. The GLV line has a reputation and design that is recognizable immediately. This keeps that image intact, it still looks like a GLV even with the attached box unit. The original GLV 3 design, looked nothing like a GLV, this design captures that perfectly. I am praying this design becomes the reality. I would sell my other metal bottom feeder and buy one of these to fast to talk about it!

I have felt like a traitor to the GLV family and Jay since I traded CASH away, but I just found that bottom feeders were the best option for me. Now this design brings me back home as I have to have another GLV in my family of PV's and this would be the workhorse for me!

Jay have you also considered maybe a smaller 3-6 ml size bottle to cut the size down even more?
