goodog,

I originally posted the issue with the new carts and pushing the filler down did help a bit.
I am fairly a newbie as well with abut 6 weeks in and I tinkered with each carto until I actually ended up trashing my first 5
I bought a couple more boxes of cartos and here is what I found for me the 2nd go round/.
1. I have no idea how much juice is in the pre-filled but I started getting the 'burnt' taste about 4 hours in to a new cart
from then on any time I tried to fill regardless of dripping or a syringe I would get leakage after less then 1/2 mil

2. this may be common knowledge to everyone but I was smoking with out the cone on as I thought it was just cosmetic but with the small notches on the cone I am pretty sure now it is needed

3. the wash and bake method in the user manual is great but I was never able to get the filler or blue foam back in to the point where the bad taste did not come back.

so to sum up the luck I had with the first cartos was a huge step back for me and I am now at about 50/50 analogs to vaping.
so I hope you we have caught your issue before you have the same problems.

so far on the 1st carto from the 2nd pack I still ave issues filling with a syringe and have no idea how much juice is in but have not had the bad taste.

good luck gooddog....

I'm just going to throw this out there because I've had good luck using this filling method.

If you happen to have some older 510 carts, you probably have some left over carto condoms that have the little plug (.... plug some on here call it). That little plug fits snugly in the battery end of the GoGo carto. After that I just fill it up. Don't care if it's down the sides or right down the middle. It all gets absorbed. I can actually hear the carto bubbling while the filler absorbs the juice. Usually it will start to pool after about 60 drops. I set it aside (upright) for a few minutes and let the juice soak in then drip another 20 drops before it pools again. Let it sit for a few more minutes and then I can usually only get another 10 to 15 drops before it full. Even then I will let it sit for a while to make sure it is really full. Anything left on top I'll use an empty juice bottle to suck out. Pull the plug and set on a papertowel to catch any excess and I'm off to vapesville.

This is my method and, for me, I feel it gets the maximum amount of juice to the filler because of the soaking time involved. Might not work for everyone, but it's a pretty simple method for those without a needle. And I've never had a problem with dry or burnt hits even after multiple quick hits.

Received my second set of Go-Go's yesterday and these do NOT have the 3 click shut off either. Also, one of the batteries has a weird screw in threading problem. I have tried it with 5 different carto's ( old batch and new batch) and although I can force the threading to work- it is very hard to do.
But, I love the Go-Go's and will just work with it and hope it gets better. Not worth the money to send it back to cigeasy.

Well I am not liking what I am hearing about this latest batch of Go-Gos from Cig Easy. What's up with that? I'm kind of glad I decided to wait to buy another one, because for me, the click off button thing is essential. My Go-Gos take a beating in my handbag and I hate those little button protectors.

Hey Cig Easy, are you listenin'? What's going on??

Are people having problems with the new batch of Go-Gos from nhaler too?

Great question. Sure would be nice to get some vendor feedback. My suspenders are hitched to the gogo star here at ECF and so far I've heard some reports of poor threading and no cut-off. Personally, if I got a battery with poor threading, I would send it back immediately for replacement whatever model it was. It is an obvious manufacturing flaw. That will only get worse over time. Who here has a "Die" for rethreading metric? We also need to find out if it's both batches from both vendors or just a single batch.

As I have already said, neither of mine were the 3 sec on/off and one of my batteries too had bad threads. I spoke with a CigEasy guy and he said none of the last 2 shipments this month have had the on/off function. He also said that they have no idea if or when the manufacturer will resume making them that way.

As for the butched up threads, it was suggested I take a fine grit sand paper and roll that into a tube the diameter of the threads and give that a light turn or two. I was already familiar with that from my 808's as most of the vendors for those still sell basically disposable batteries at non-disposable prices but it does work.

One item I didn't mention was the cone. Either the cone threading is angular or the battery to carto threads are as on both batteries, it scars up one side of the carto's when I put the cone on. It goes on smoothly with no carto but gets harder to seat with a carto on either battery.

I also opened a new kit from Nhaler and it also didn't have the on/off feature but the threads/cone were fine. The charger from that unit had to be adjusted by smoothing down the charger contact plastic shoulder.

I remain ecstatic with the vaping performance of the GO-GO and if for no other reason will put up with the minor issues mentioned. My 808's and Ego's got me off analogs 3 months back but until I got the GO-GO, the 20+ year smokeless tobacco habit had been a battle. It's only 48 hours since I had my last dip but...

It's the first 48 hours I have ben truly 100% tobacco free in over 40 years. For that trade-off, I can deal with the imperfections and higher build quality expectations I had. :)

The only problem I encountered, with my Go-Go, was when I attached the cart to the battery. The threads were rough and it didn't want to screw on. I worked it a little bit, being careful not to cross-thread it and it went on. No biggie, just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting the Go-Go. Hopefully, I'll be using my Go-Go gadget, for a long time to come.

I was going to mention that as well. I noticed the slight difficulty screwing the cartos onto the battery as well. Almost felt like I was going to damage it if I turned it to hard, but it worked out alright.

On a related note ... the charger dongle for the battery did NOT come with the excess plastic as earlier ones did. The plastic is perfectly flush with the metal ring, so apparently that issue has been corrected. Yay!

I apologize for re-asking a question but did any of the other new GO-GO-ers receive a kit without the on/off switch batteries like I did?

It's certainly not a deal breaker with this excellent item as it is but is a little disappointing after waiting for the fourth wave to hit just so I would get the on/off type.

Thanks again! :)

Mine aren't the on/off kind either, and I just got them a couple days ago. Fine by me, though ... so far I love this thing!

Another carto with that bad taste, so now I have 3 so far. These are from the latest version and I wish I could describe the taste better. It's not a burnt taste but it's nauseating. It happens once the coil warms up and continues getting worse the hotter it gets. I ordered some from Nhaler to see if they are the same and they should be here Monday.

I've been MIA for a few days but come back to see many new go-goers - welcome to the nation! :) It's a little disappointing to read that the newest generation of pvs don't have the shut-off that vapers like so much. And things are happening with the cartos. I also have an LR that was a little difficult to screw on but, it works. Considering that these pvs are proprietary, I hope the suppliers can get a more consistent product out there soon.

What I find remarkable is that we all still find these issues to be minor compared to the great vaper, th, gocart capacity, longevity etc that totally overshadow the little irritating bits. If the suppliers can get the consistency bugs worked out and keep the price reasonable, they won't be able to keep these in stock. So says a happy go-go gal. :vapor:

EDIT on content deletion: I just finished an extended chat with SSV2 and it seems my rambling supposition has no basis in fact. I apologize for wasting everyone's time with pure supposition based on dated experience.

The fact that 2nd gens were received does seem to be a QC issue with one of the factories these were received from so my theory about CigEasy getting stock from a trading company to hold them until a regular factory order was received was totally off base.

Thanks,

Steve aka Major S.

I don't Bill and didn't mean to imply that at all. I specified that I was refererring to CigEasy as Nhaler had been out for a while. There's no reason to think Drew made any rush order as he was without for 2-3 weeks which would be a decent lead time for a regular factory order.

I may have assumed incorrectly but most of the folks with the minor issues seemed to be from CigEasy. The Nhaler kit I got had no on/off but also doesn't have threading issues.
