oh ok i get it, the qtip method, you are actually taking off the rubber tip and inserting the qtip upwards, with the cotton then being INSIDE the carto, and the open end of qtip sticking out, outside of PV...................boy did i get it wrong. but now that i just pop the rubber cap off and drip along sides, it works just as good, if not better, and much easier, i dont have worry about the qtip thang at all!

Ah! The great q-tip cluster fill. WHen I fill new cartos, I take the cap off and pump about 2ml in from the bottom with a syringe. When I top them off, I use a q-tip with one end cut off. There is a center hole for air to the horizontal coil at the bottom. I plug that and drip liquid from the bottle down the side until full drops come out the bottom. Then I remove the q-tip and use the fuzzy end that's left to clean out the inside of all my drip tips that I use on the gogo. :)

The q-tip method is for folks who don't want to show a false fill by having juice drip down the inside of the tube rather than saturating the filler. When I started with the gogo, filling a new carto was almost a ceremony. I'd count twenty drops then let it sit for 5 minutes. Repeat until I'd pumped in 100 drops or so. After 3 new carts I had a good feeling for what they hold and when they're "almost" full. Filling gocarts is easy, after you've done a few.

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS!
i have never counted drops or even paid much attention to how much i draw up in a syringe...i just fill until saturated, until i see some leakage from battery end. then i put rubber tip/mouth piece back on, i wrap the whole thang in a paper towel and give it a few hard shakes (like mercury thermometer shake), then blow thru the mouthpiece to get any residual, then wipe, and vape! and am good to GO GO for a long time!!

Yesterday I was reading about cleaning cartos with an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. If you have done this, how did it work with the gogo cartos? Easier than soaking and taryn spinning etc? What were the results and would you recommend this way of cleaning over the other various ways? Did it clean the old flavor out? I would like to hear everyone's experience. I'm always looking for easy - that's why I love my GoGo. lol

TIA

Hopefully Devonmoonshire gets in here to answer, as I think he is the resident journeyman Ultrasonic Go Cart refurbinator. But it sounds like a great way to go, although I think it is how WELL it cleans that is the point. After getting it clean I do believe you will still need to do some sort of spun/bake/blow to get it dried, which I think is going to be the case with any carto, unless you remove the filler to clean.

You Know It Brother Les017 :D I am all over this one. I have to say that the way I did it, yes yes yes it worked way better than the traditional soaking method. Once they were done of course I poured near boiling water through the cartos to ensure anything that got knocked loose was rinsed out as well as the Vodka. The other cleaning solution I used was Crest Pro Health. I have to say that the crest did do a better job but it did take a little more rinsing to get the mouthwash out than it did wit Vodka, fair trade off for me though since I smoked menthols when I did smoke.

Once everything was said and done though the flavor of the juice came through extremely pure.

Hope this helps;

Thanks for the quick reply! What cleaning liquid did you use in the ultrasonic? Here's what I've been comtemplating: let cartos soak in hot distilled water to remove most of any remaining juice; drop in the ultrasonic; rinse and spin dry. Am I close?

You are pretty much right on par Cisme. I slowly pour extremely hot distilled water through the carto while holding it over the sink with a pair of medical tweezers. Then I stand it on end in the ultrasonic and pour either Vodka,(any clear Pure Grain Alcohol will do), or I use Crest Pro Health mouthwash and do the same, pour it through the cartos evenly until the sonic cleaner is at the fill level it needs to be, this allows for te Alcohol or Pro Health to start working immediately and then turn it on and let it go for about 20 to 30 minutes. Take am out and repeat the pouring of very hot filtered water through the carts in the same fashion and spin dry, and allow to finish drying for 24 to 48 hours before filling again and doing the one I was vaping this whole time.

Good Luck, I know for me it leaves the cartos very very clean and my liquid tastes extremely pure after this.

Devon was the one who convinced my to buy my ultra sonic cleaner (Back when he was an avid Ego-T supporter). But my cleaning method is a little less detailed then his. Your mileage may vary but this works for me. I place my carts in the cleaner (mine lay down vs Devon's standing up right) I pour in Crest Pro Mouth Wash till it is slightly above the go-go carts. I run 3, 3 min cycles (my cleaner has only 1 cycle and its 3 mins long), rinse out with hot water and spin dry. Thanks again Ceegary for the spinning tool. Taste has been great and no issues.

Thanks for that Sandfury. That looks like the method I'll try first when my ultrasonic cleaner arrives. Does the cleaner work on boge 510lr cartos also?

Thanks Nate. That's what I really wanted to know. I pretty much use gocarts and boge lrs. Plus the occasional atty.

My Pleasure, That is pretty much where I am too, I ordered the Riva from Liberty flights because it was so inexpensive I couldn't pass it up and I just took the atty's that came wit it out and put them in the 510 drawer and placed a Boge LR cartomizer on her and a drip tip, SWEET LITTLE BABY GO GO :D:D:D

Hello all you gogo fans, I have been in the process of starting a new supplier site and as of now have decided to only carry the GOGO and The IGO, I will be setting up a deal through the supplier in china . There are only two main supplier's at this point and i feel that the need is there. I am going to start with stainless kits, with chrome band , and will also carry black and am looking into some other custom colors, like anodized red, blue, green and copper. and will be offering regular and low resistance cartomizers. My site is as of right now not up and running yet but it is very close. I will also feature links to some of the better liquid suppliers, as I will not be able to carry very many cart flavors to start with, but as time goes on i will. Looking forward to doing future business. All products will be gauranteed except for LR cartomizers.

Prices will be the same , but i will be a supplier that believes in perks . So you can expect to have a little extra with your orders weather it is say a drip tip, a couple of flavored cartomizer's . or something to that effect. And will also plan on having monthly give away's to boot. I have already received some samples of the stainless kit's and they are sweet, just looks so much nicer than black. I am really pushing them to offer me anodized colors to boot. this is not something they are doing at this point but I am trying to twist there arm so to speak. ( don't ask for pic's not going to get them until I release them) I will also have a standing 5 % off for ECF members .I am thinking of having my logo on the battery also in maybe deep blue or deep red. the sky is the limit..Unfortunatly as a new supplier getting a whole lot of stock is costly, my first is going to be about 200 kits with about 200 extra packs of cartomizer's and extra batteries also. I will be offering replacement batteries and cones right off the bat seems like these aren't available at this point.

sorry I am cross posting from the new members forum because I am kind of freaking out....

I have had the gogo for just over 24hr and I couldn't wait for the first cart to go dry and fill it with my fav for now ry4..as soon as I smelt the 1st bit of burn I stopped and topped of the cart to the point where it dripped from the bottom dried everything of spun the carto in my hand for good luck and the first 3 puffs felt like I was smoking straight filler..now that it has set for a while it tastes like half burn\half ry4

You shouldn't wait until you smelled something burned because it probably is. You should top off before that when the vapor starts to decrease. You also would be much better off to fill from the top. Just pull off the cap and drip down the sides until one drop comes out the bottom or until you think it is fully saturated. You can also use a syringe if you prefer.

Sorry I misread the post I thought you said you filled from the bottom.
