Thinking I might have to build around 1.5 ohms to achieve longer life out of the dinky 350 battery inside. The 650 is just horrendously huge.

1 ohm coil gives me pretty good life on my hammer (18350 mech) using efest purples. I'll get about 2 hrs or so of vape time tho once I dip to .7 or .6.

Though on my 1.1 ohm kayfun, I could get about 4-6 hrs depending on various conditions ^^

I prefer my Goblin Mini at around .9-1 ohm.

Badon...

Sounds like your cotton is too tight.

I have not learned how to send one of my photos but here is my build.

6-7 wraps around the shaft of the little blue screwdriver supposedly 2mm.

I use 28 gauge Kanthal, and the ohms rating is .9-1 ohms

The coil I am using now is 2.5 mm internal diameter 26 gauge and 8 wraps comes in at .81 ohms. Hope this is helpful to you.

I use plain old organic cotton balls. I don't care for Kojendo.

Mine last night was 26ga 2.4 Diameter 7 wraps dual . 36 ohms. Great flavor. Just recieved my 2nd goblin. mini, goliath v2 and 2 Aqua v2's.. Today. Also on the way 3 goblin mini clones from fastech. So I'm busy and liking it.

Dave please let me know what you think of the flavor of the Goliath V2.

Could you guys post some of the builds you are running? (wire gauge, diameter, wraps, ohms, etc.) I just can't seem to get any flavor out of my Goblin Mini. I run the same build in my Goblin v2 and that tank is awesome but in the Mini flavor is really muted.

Twobears is right on the money. Try not to build to low or the whole tank will get too hot. Just below 1ohm to .5 ohm seems to be (at least my) sweet spot. The clouds from this RTA will surprise you at these builds and it can keep right up with my billow v2. My goblin mini is full of juice I'll vape on it and hopefully empty the tank and fight the temptation to refill so I can snap a few pics

Thanks for the vote of confidence Goose.

Yes the little Goblin Mini blew my mind in more ways than one.

1.awesome flavor.
2. That tiny and still holds 3 ml of juice.
3. Rock on single or dual coil mode.
4. Unrestricted for me and take full lung hits and look like a dragon with the vapor it puts out. Its not going to win any cloud chasing competitions but the vapor is very respectable when you consider it is a tank and one of the smallest tanks at that.

This is the wicking method I use for thinner juices. Usually anything below 40vg. I overlap the barrel and the wicking.

For my heavier juice builds above 50vg which is what I use most of the time I leave the juice wells open and do something similar to pancaking the wicks. The coil is 6/5 wrap .5mm x 1mm ribbon wire that I have been using for a while in leu of my empty 28ga spool :-(. It works out to be .6 ohms and with very little ramp up time or "hard" mode. Hope this helps anyone that has issues with wicking !

Using the tweezers I press gently in each corner where the juice well is. If I can feel the well then I add a tiny ball until I can't. I repeat this process on all 4 of the wells to prevent flooding.

It looks like a lot more than what is there because the ends are fluffed. Just enough to cover the ends of the deck then fluff them and point them up. The first picture is quite a bit more wicking because of the thinner juice I used up. Lots of flavor zero burnt hits and chain vape all day.

As far as my goblin build goes, I'm using a pair of 28g Kanthal A-1 7 1/2 wrap coils with a ID of 2mm. My first build I used moonrider cotton balls (prob just repackaged organic stuff, I got it for free), stuffed just to the first thread or so of the juice channels with cotton since I was using Thumper from Standard Vape, and it wicked like a champ. Burned my expensive bottle faster than you can say tasty vapes XD

Second build I went for the longer tank section and put a bit more cotton in cuz I was going with Castle Long Reserve, which is 50/50 iirc, and again works great. Flavor is a bit more muted but I think its moreso from the longer chimney, not the wicking.

----------

If youre getting muted flavor, try closing the air flow down a bit, get a drip tip with a smaller hole, or using a bit less cotton in the coil. Too much cotton in the coil will cause muted and even dry hits. Also too much cotton in the juice channels can cause muted hits too. If youre using a thick juice, try leaving the channels open and build like a kayfun; put the cotton over the channel (but not stuff it in)

But generally I find if I use a wide bore tip or have too much air, the flavor is way too muted.
