Hello all;

I just finished reading the thread "Daily Word". I have to tell you it ministered to me so much! Many of the posts could have been describing my situations perfectly!

I've been through some difficult trials in the last few years, and my faith took a severe beating. But I've come to realize those trials needed to happen in order for my faith to grow. I feel like a plant that has been pruned of old growth in order to make way for the new. Now it seems as if God is leading me through an accelerated growth period of my faith. It is awesome!

I'm so glad God led me to this group! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm sorry to hear your faith took a beating, but yes it was God's plan to help you grow in your faith. I've had similar experiences during the past decade. God works in mysterious ways. And for that and many other reasons, I love Him.

Yes, that's for sure God is Great! He has done so much for me too in my life, times when I felt so alone, He picked me back up and got me on my feet again. He never abandoned me, even when I was a total mess. He is forever our father, he loves us more then we can ever imagine, even in our wildest dreams.
