There is no, none, zero question in the mainstream medical community that nicotine is highly addictive.
I hear ya Patrick, but my experience disproves that for me. I was severely addicted to cigarettes for 37 years and then switched to vaping. Once I got over the cigarette addiction I was easily able to leave nic behind in six months.
After I got off nicotine so easily the first time while vaping I thought my experience must have been an exception to the rule or some kind of 'mind over magic' trick I played on myself. So, I used no nic juice exclusively for nine months, vaped nicotine again for a month and then went off it cold turkey for another month. I felt a slight pull from quitting the nicotine the second time, but I had no issues I would consider withdrawal in any way and I easily succeeded in leaving nic behind again.
What does the mainstream medical community understand about nicotine addiction as opposed to cigarette addiction? That's a serious question BTW, I'm not just being snarky.
To suggest nic will add to ones health is simply put insane.
Ya, I'll need some data supporting this before I'll believe it. I might sound like it, but I'm really not a vaping fanboy ignoring scientific data to support my pet foible of the month.
