Going from 12 to 18mg

Hello,
After 7 months of vaping i find myself liking 18mg after i started on 12mg. It started when trying flavors at a shop that they only had 18mg, non home brand. Does this happen to most? Im happy and dont "bum" smokes when out with my friends. Just to know if anyone experienced this.

I have gradually done down to 6 from 18 back in February. I still like 12 for tobacco vapes...yes, that's a little strange to want to up your nicotine after being lower for awhile.

Whatever works for you Mark to stay off the cigarettes then that is just fine.

I still use 18mg after 10 months. I have tryed 12mg, but the taste is not the same to me.

My better half uses 18mg first thing in the morning but then changes out her tank to use the 12mg that we both usually vape. She just feels that she gets more of that cigarette type of feeling using the 18mg nic liquid first thing in the morning but she says she has no plans to raise up from the normal 12 on a full time basis.

Ocassionally I will jump up in nic level, we keep a butter mint in 24mg laying around for those occasions when either of us really feels we need a major nic hit, then we put on the tank that we keep that liquid in but very rarely do either of us keep it on for more than 6 or 10 vapes.

I wouldn't think it's strange to go up to a higher nic level, after all I know a lot of people that started smoking with ultra lights and eventually started to smoke marlborough reds.

I started out with 18mg and still use it now. I keep 24mg and 36mg on hand to because of those moments when someone gets on my "reserve nerve". It sounds silly but it absolutely works for me. After smoking for 40 some years, I am not concerned with the amount of nic and have no plans to lower it. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

why do you want a higher nic level? I vape 12 now, which is a bad idea in my subohm rda, but I havent had a chance to get new liquids.
when I smoked cigs, I smoked for the buzz, that dizzy feeling you get, but I havent gotten a buzz from e cigs since the first time I bought liquid, that was 24mg because I didnt know what I was doing, and I stopped getting a buzz pretty quickly from that

Are you looking for a stronger throat hit? if so you might want to increase the PG end of the ratio. I used to only vape max VG or 100% VG now I'm liking 70/30 and 60/40 PG/VG

After a couple of years of vaping I find myself remaining at 24mg. I went, and still occasionally use, 12 or 16 or 18 but I find myself vaping more often. That's not all bad but it's not always convenient. As longer as you don't overdo it (and avoid taking in too much nicotine), it should work out.

I have been trying to train myslef down.. but.. ya.. In the AM.. with my first cup o joe? I needed more than the 6 I was trying to get to.. even 12 was light. I had a bottle of 24 around.. loaded that in a Nautilus Mini tank.. and use that for the first hour Im up.. it works nicely.

I don't particularly like a nic buzz later in the day.. and I get them if I chain vape too much.. even with 12's etc...so.. its still trial and error...
