I am anxiously awaiting delivery on my first Reo Grand, purchased yesterday. Surprised that a tracking number was sent out at 2 am this morning. I'm pretty sure that it isn't at the post office yet but still, impressed that someone is working over the holiday weekend.

I'm not new to dripping and have recently got into rda's so I have all the requisite stuff for that. Just super excited about this, mostly that it isn't actually as big as I thought. Not much taller than the 18650 and almost the same size as that pack of smokes I carried for so many years. Of course a bit less crushable. No longer having to also carry a bottle or switch to a tank when going out and the fragility of those won't be much of a concern anymore.

The waiting begins, will post a pic and my first impressions once it arrives. Thanks for all of the helpful posts and videos to check out while I wait. And i'm wondering why it has taken me so long to get into this.

Black Wrinkle / White, RM2, extra bottle and spring

That "somebody" would be Robert O'Neil ........ and he never stops working ever. That is the #1 reason REOville is so awesome. Heck if you wanted to give him a call and chat at 2am he would probably shoot the breeze with ya for a while :D

Congrats ......... Pics when it arrives. Remember someone has to sign for the package.

The excitement and giddiness is unbearable isn't it? It's like a kid on the top of the steps at 5 am on Christmas morning and their parents are still sleeping!!!
I have everything I need or it's enroute except for the Reo itself which will have to wait until next week. :(
It will however be very well worth the torture once it arrives. I'm gonna have to send Mrs Underdawg to a weekend getaway as a thank you for putting up with me for the past several weeks!

One of the major factors that sold me on choosing the Reo is that Mr O'Neil is a one man show! I love to support the little guy especially in this ever growing industry where it's fastech this or joyetech that....ect. Plus it's made in Maine......I LOVE MAINE! It's been 13 years since I've been up that way but I still have very fond memories of that beautiful land!

I'm sure you're gonna absolutely love your Grand minigoat!

I know a little bit about how Rob operates being a small business owner myself. Most of us work 60+ hours a week to keep from having a "real job", and invest most of our resources in tools, equipment, and inventory. It's all worth it if you love what you do and Rob obviously does. Excellent, old fashioned customer service coupled with a superior product is a fine business model IMO.

Welcome to Reoville!

Amen to that. I'm a one man show to and it's not unusual for me to hit 70 plus hours a week. But I wouldn't trade it for anything. And Rob is no different. He must love what he does or there's no way he would work as much as he does.

Welcome to Reoville!

Seems you and I get to do the waiting game together Minigoat... I got my shipping confirmation as well, and am super stoked about my new Precious that will be arriving here soon! Luckily, I now work as a remote office at my house, so I'll be here for the blessed arrival.

I hafta give Rob extra awesome points for doing what he does, at the quality he does. This is why I decided to go with a REO over a "comparable" tubesteak mod (Made by Provape). He's on the forums, he's active, and here in REO-ville, the coils are wicked micros with fresh sqonked flavor on demand.

More in common than you know. I work from home the last 2.5 years and haven't physically been to an office in over 6 months. My biggest fear is that I won't hear the door when it comes. Sometimes the dogs bark, sometimes not. Would truly bum me out if I had to wait a day and then visit the post office due to a missed delivery.

I will admit to having a couple Provari and they have been very good to me. If anything it just highlights my value for quality (like you) and why I finally decided to get a Reo. I plan on continuing to use them, but just not as much. I'll have to wait and see how that works out though. Others have sold them and bought more Reo, right now that sounds extreme but if it works out that way I am sure I will be OK.

Can't wait… Already looking at that orange one, is that competition orange… Uh oh i'm in trouble.
