I found some howto's on DIY juice, but was wondering. Where can one get PG? I know it is the primary ingredient in RV antifreeze, and no-one in their right mind would use RV anti-freeze for anything other than what the label says! but there must be a pure, edible form available somewhere. Also, has anyone made a mix calculator for a PC? (Linux preferred but windows will do) I dont have an IPhone (Shocking, I know) Even just an equation will suffice. If PG is not available, then how would one thin the VG down a bit? Use water? Is there any need to thin it if one is careful to practice safe vaping with VG only?

Thanks folks!

You can order PG from VaporGeek (they're based in Surrey, BC) and ship incredibly fast! I've ordered at least 10 times from them and every time I get my tracking number a few hours after I've placed an order and receive my order within 2 days.
Thanks DFP. I head into Surrey a couple of times a month and could swing by maybe. I'll email them presently.

PG is a primary component of an inexhaustible list of products.

By no means should you even consider using any of them in DIY liquid (most certainly NOT anti-freeze!!!!!).

PG USP is what you need. For retail - you can get it from a pharmacy or a DIY vendor. For wholesale - you can get it from some chemical supply companies (confirm that it is USP pharmaceutical grade first though).

You can get it at London Drugs, just call them or go in and order it at the pharmacy, it's about 10 or 11 bucks for 500ml. it is usually in the next business day.

I don't have or simply have not heard of a London Drugs in my area ... I wonder if I could do the same at a Shopper's Drug Mart?? If anyone knows, please advise ...

I use distilled water to cut my VG, I can't tolerate even a little bit of PG as it gives me heartburn and really irritates the back of my throat.

Interesting...about the heartburn - I've had a lot lately, but w/all the meds I'm on since cardiac...that's a possible side effect - I HATE THAT....you read the sheet from Shoppers & it says "can cause constipation or ........" - make up yer mind ...& FAST!

I just got back from a trip into town and I stopped at my local Shoppers and the pharm was more than happy to help me out. It should arrive next monday. $9.89 for a 500 ml bottle. I got the VG at Walmart, but I had to ask the pharm for it.

Ramapril? Atenolol? Both cause dry throat, coughing and for some, heartburn. My little piranha fish has taken both at times over the past 2 years. Fortunately she is only taking the Ramapril now and no longer wants to kill every livng thing around her for kicks.
