Hey guys, so I have been vaping for a while and now that one of my comrades are getting ready to deploy I was wondering if there are any others in the Military that have deployed with their mods and what their advice is? Good, tough mods for deployment? Any recommended mods or advice please.
Just to put it out there, I will be getting an Infinite Kayfun V4 for this deployment. The ability to build my own coils really appeals to me and I really think the ability to cut off juice flow for leakage purposes is a good option for a deployment tank. And, of course, a tank versus an RDA because of all the sand over there my RDA will CONSTANTLY be crudded up.

1. I am looking for something with an onboard charging system as I will always be accompanied with a portable charger that has solar charging built in for those dire situations.
2. TOUGH obviously
3. At least 30 Watts
4. A Chipped Mod Box, im not into the mechanical mod thing. I like my boxes with all my safety features.

I thought that was a great choice too. Until I read that it does not have a port for passthrough charging capability. Therefore, it does not fit the requirements of what I need.

Get two. ;)
The invader is a damn durable device.
Waterproof.

Personally I would go mechanical for the sheer indestructibility, and an RBA like the Bellus or Kayfun but there isn't any danger for me.

The LVT is only 15W though. I'd second the Invader Mini. I know space in your pack is limited, but if you can squeeze a charger in there somewhere it's one of your best options. I've seen vids of folks running those mods over with cars and they barely get a scratch. Either that or an AR mech mod. I know they aren't regulated like you want, but they are tough as nails as well.

First, thank you for your service to our country.

Ditto on this iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro 60W Express Kit by Innokin . I have one and among the numerous mods I have, it's built tough, very heavy, like holding a friggin brick /lol, big and easy to read screen, square form factor so easy to use with gloves AND if you were my son, this is what I would want you to carry. I carry it when I hike and the outputs have come in handy for some poor sole who forgot to charge their cell phone.

I'm not enamored with a KF 4 for your use. It's got WAY WAY to many moving parts. I would actually favor the old school KFL+ V2 which is simple to field strip and build on. I could argue, so what if you shut off the juice flow BUT then you can't vape. If you limit the juice flow with the latest and greatest so what, the vape taste anemic or you can't deliver enough juice to the wick and thus it's dry hit city. If the draw on an old school KFL + V2 is to tight then you could always get a very cheap monster base from FT. Is it a "leak" or a little dribble and where does it come from? On the base a little dribble is no big deal and dare I say that many many RTAs produce a little dribble on the base. Dribbles or leaks are normally caused by many things but proper wicking is at the top of the list. On the other hand, if your jumping out of an airplane and subjecting the topper to sever elevation changes we have another issue to consider but I'm guessing your not. It just depends. At least maybe listen to grandpa and explore other options for a topper. Please :)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Provari Radius. ProVape products have a well founded reputation as being very durable and tough, among the best, if not the best on the market. It has onboard charging, and the battery can also be changed out with a standard 18650 in a pinch. It's 40 watts.

No offense to what people have recommended but honestly nothing applies to op. You really recommended someone who wants high durability a mvp or ipv? What you want is not heard of at all. And to recomend something based on what your asking for is impossible. There's nothing that will satisfy what you are asking for IMO. What you need to do is get over the idea of a regulated device. They are just flat out unreliable when it comes to what your looking for. My recommendation would be for you to get your self a reo and a rm2 rda. 6ml capacity, 99.9% indestructible and water proof. Uses 1 18650 but you can just get 4 of them and get a mil. Spec battery case to keep them safe. With the right build you could go a whole day with heavy use and not go through more then 2 batteries. Ask any vape vet and they will probably tell you the same thing. Good luck sir

I've literally beat the crap out of this Cloupor Mini Plus I've dropped it a good 20 times, juice has gotten all over it and barely a scratch on it even without the mod condom on it, fyi I work in construction so it's being operated under some pretty sketchy conditions, I've broken two other mods at work (Evic VT/istick 40w TC) but this one keeps kicking..

only downside to it is it's kinda heavy although I'm pretty sure it's made out of solid steel which is a plus for me... If I didn't win a VTC mini I would have ordered another one...

I would highly recommend the Innokin MVP. It is a solid performer with long battery life, 60w and usb charging.

Only the MVP has held up and not missed a beat to what i subject mods to lol, tough as nails and the capability to recharge other devices is huge .

The OP may not be looking for a built in battery type and that would be the ONLY reason i would look elsewhere.

Respectfully disagree with your comments. While the Reo is an excellent Bottom feed mod, the topper would NOT be waterproof and the Responses were based on Criteria established by the Op.
Deployment Location is but one part of a total picture. Foot Patrol vs Captains Cook, Motor pool or Fighter pilot, etc.

And how would any other "topper" be water proof... they all have air holes don't they? If anything any RDA would be more water proof then any other atty as you could just fire it a couple times and be good to go. Worst case scenario pop the top off grab some cotton from inside your reo and rewick in about 2 min. Iv had mvps iv had ipvs. They are about as far from indestructible you can get. Can an mvp be field stripped and completely rebuilt in a few mins with 1 tool? No

Edit: if you really feel comfortable recommending an mvp to this guy why don't you also show him the mvp thread with countless issues and defects, same with the ipv.

Sand in the rda? You could literally dunk it in water, fire it a couple times, drip it and go. I don't understand your thought process nor the thought process in most of these replies. Have fun disassembling a kayfun or having your mvp button poop out or having an ipv stop reading atties. Iv seen it all. I'm not trying to be an ....... I sware. I'm just floored at all the here you should try this $50 mod that I love, this isn't about you it's about op. Unless you have expierence with extreme conditions I'd keep my recommendations to myself.

IMHO to each his own.. I'd be staying away from drippers, who's got time to drip while you're being shot at....

Just sayin >.>
