Ok Paul all I know is that is gave me an area to click.. To put my CC information in. With your permission I will go back and try to order again and see if it gives that option. If it does, I will print screen and post it to you. I really seriously want to the bottom of this as much as you probably do right about now. I will make good if this is an error on my part. However I just followed the steps. Maybe I was hacked. I am trying to find out what the heck happened lastnight. I am so very upset and feel violated. So I am more then willing to work with you. To A find out what happend and B resolve it and I swear I will sing to the whole world you are awesome. I put in the top of this post I think it was a hack. Did you read that part? All I know. I wanna know what happened! I posted what happened to me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Paul is saying there is no place on his site to put credit card info....that the checkout takes you to paypal (which I have seen several sites do that).

The OP is saying she put her Visa card info on the site....and it took it...and that's where the problem began.

Since we can't be assured at this time that it was in fact Paul's site that caused the problem, we are closing this out until the OP can come up with some more concrete info.

I don't believe the OP is lying about the theft but who she believes stole her info is questionable. With viruses and what not going around these days, there's a lot of possible scenarios. I would be hard pressed to believe that an otherwise apparently upstanding supplier here would risk his business for $25 and such shenanigans. He has an awful lot to lose. I do tend to think there's a serious misunderstanding somewhere here.

So this thread will be kept intact, but taken out of the forum. Hopefully the OP will let us know what happened when she gets it straightened out.

I restored this thread because the OP has gathered some pretty interesting information and is ready to post it here. It took her some time to make the contacts she needed to get it cleared up and hopefully she will get her money back.

Hopefully this turns out a win-win situation for all involved.

Internet theft is really a horrible experience to go through...not just the financial disaster of it all, but also the emotional side of it as well. Hopefully the OP is able to recoup her losses and get back on her feet.

And as far as Paul, well, you had a lot of support here...and the OP has nothing but praise for you. Glad the truth came out and it all worked out for you.

I agree and I wish Paul a rockin business! He is the stand up guy I kept reading about! I am just so sorry for the crappy situation, and it ending up at Paul's store front. He is on the up and up! Credit Card Fraud sucks, even if it is pre-paid! Which I will never mess with again! I wish people would get a life man. Thx Paul, Mod and members for hanging in with me, while I ranted! Thx for sticking with me until I got the info and was able to post it and most important find out what happened. Thx for all that tried to help me also! Getting the money back would be nice, but at this point I am just happy to know what the hell happened. So it's a win for me already. Not knowing who stole my info was making me insane!:evil:

Yes, credit card fraud does stink in a major way. I am a fraud analyst for a major credit card company. I deal with people and companies all day that are victims of this crime.

Companies utilize a service such as PayPal, Bibit, etc. to protect both themselves and their customers. In many cases of fraud of this type, the individual's personal information has not been compromised. "Just" the credit card information.

In the case of Bluegrass Vapor, I have recently ordered from them and will definitely order from them again. I feel extremely secure with the site.
