Good RTA for TC

i have a zephyrus right now for a dual coil tank but from what I've read into its very hard to build nickel on a dual cool due to resistance needing to be low.
****correct me if I'm wrong please (this is what I was told)

If I am correct what is a good tank for a single coil rta build.

I have the subtank mini v2 and don't like it at all also

The 2 tanks that I don't own but will shortly are the Crown from Uwell and the Landmark from Kaees. I've seen reviews on both and have either heard or seen great things about both. I don't know if this helps but these tanks have my curiosity jumping.

Honestly, probably the best tank I've found for rebuilding TC coils is NOT a subohm tank at all. As you're finding out, the decks are just too small on those. They're made for small kanthal subohm builds and aren't large enough for nickel coils.

So for me, the best tank I've found for TC builds is the Squape R with the W deck. You can easily fit a 3mm diameter, 12 wrap nickel coil on the deck with plenty of spacing if you want.

Low resistance isn't a problem with Ni200. The problem is getting the resistance high enough for the mod to fire it. When you buy the wire, get the smallest gauge (highest number) you can find. Single coil RTA's usually have a small deck space to build on and a 12 wrap 28G spaced coil is almost impossible to fit in most of them. The Squape Completely Average posted about is a rare exception. I tried it in my Kayfun Lite with 28G and can't get enough wraps in there to get the resistance high enough for my iPV4. Theoretically though, it should work in any tank as long as you can get enough coil in there to meet the minimum resistance.

I'm noticing that. These is an AVAIL shop in my area and I don't particularly care for their juice the manager in one of the shops is extremely knowledgable and also helpful. So I try to buy some equipment there to make up for the help lol. He doesn't do nickel builds yet himself, says he doesn't care to but he's who told me about low resistance. That tank above in the thread looks like it could be a simmer though I'm probably going to start getting into dripping soon, but very lightly I drive quite a bit so these RTAs work perfectly for me being on the go with my marketing position and visiting clients. But dripping while at home is becoming tempting

If you want to drip on the go, there are ways to do it. Bottom feed devices (REO's or Smokeless Owls) are a good option. I don't have one yet, but it will be my next purchase. (I still owe myself a gift for my one year vaperversary!) Its a mod with a small bottle of juice that feeds through a tube directly into the dripper with a simple squeeze. There are a lot of dual coil RTA's out there that make big clouds as well. I picked up a Billow V2 a few weeks ago and it makes decent fog and has a 5 ml tank. I'm a big fan of drippers though. There's nothing quite like a huge cloud and a rush of nic to melt away some stress.

Titanium wire is a good option for RTAs. 6 wraps of 28g will put you around 0.4 ohm. So a dual will put you around 0.2. Those will fit in anything and be a high enough resistance.

I agree with you. But I don't particularly care for clouds, although they are nice. I am chasing the flavor more the less. I will look into those drippers you've mentioned. Seem cool!

I've heard about the billow v2, I'm currently sporting the Zephyrus by UD and the flavor is absolutely wonderful! It has top fill and incredible air flow. I'm a fan of it

The billow has good flavor, but it's not a top fill. You pull the build deck (which is a nice feature) and fill it like a nautilus. But you need a narrow tip to fill it. If you want flavor from a dripper and don't want to get into crazy complex builds, look for one with small air flow holes and/or a short cap. They make smaller clouds, but better flavor.

I've heard that. Smaller chimney in an RTa= better flavor.
I'm debating making my next purchase the Goblin V2 4ml tank but short Chimney. I'm loving the build quality and features in this zephyrus so I have no problem giving Youde some more business

Only problem I'm having with my zephyrus is no matter how I sick the damned thing I, getting dry hits at anything over 29 watts. Bought this sigelei 75w TC mod to test the waters! Lol
