Speaking of phones covered in plastic, my wife called me after getting her new Iphone..

Wife - "I can't hear anything..it's so soft".
Me - Do you have the volume turned up while in the call?
Wife - "Yes, I do. Seriously, DUH!"
Me - Did you take the plastic cover off the screen?
Wife - "NO! I don't want finger-prints on the screen."
Me - Take it off.. it blocks the ear piece on the phone.
Wife - Oh! .. OH!.. Ok, I can hear you now.

I hate to admit this, but when I got mine I went to the grocery store, called the wife to make sure I got everything and couldn't hear a thing! I promptly went back to the store, "This things a piece of crap! I can't hear anything!" Yeah, the clerk peeled the plastic off, "There you go sir, that blocks the speaker." DUH!

You Can't Help Someone who doesn't Want to be Helped.

If someone asks for help with a problem, how do you know they really don't want help? So, does that mean every newbie in the New Members section should be avoided, simply because we don't know if they are truly asking for help or just seeking attention?

Sometimes it is Just Better to Smile and Walk Away.

Not to argue, but which would you rather have, someone spreading misinformation about health issues, (silica, metal ions, various dangerous chemicals in the vape), without response, potentially scaring away new vapers, and feeding the regulation fire, or have people address and correct the misinfo?

I really hate having to ban people, but it has to be done when people are breaking our rules.

I banned 4 people today I think... Cpl Wasnt even on my radar to ban until he had a go at me...another american...
