If you got the e-pipe I am thinking of, you will need to buy 18350 size batteries, not 18500. With mine, it has to use flat top batteries. You should get unprotected IMR batteries. The Vape Safe fuse will not fit. The 18350 batteries are a tight fit already. I am not sure you could fit a protected 18350 in the e-pipe.

Regardless of whether you get the proper extension tubes, you should buy the AW IMR unprotected batteries (the red ones). With the Smoktech ones, you need flattop 18350s to get it working properly in original condition. I have AW and Efest IMR and have never had an issue.

The world of hobbyist flashlight batteries is confusing, particularly when first buying some batteries. You should do some research into IMR battery cells to ensure you are safely using them. There are some risks involved, but being knowledgeable helps minimize them.
