The OP said he was grabbed from behind and pushed against a wall. Even if it wasn't rough or violent, if someone
grabbed me like that they would have got a very quick lesson in un-armed combat courtesy of Uncle Sam.
I probably would have ended up in jail for assaulting an officer when all I was doing was defending
myself from an unknown assailant.
YES! I thought the exact same thing when I read this. My hubby is a former Army Ranger, retired. I could just imagine what would happen if someone grabbed him from behind, cop or not.
My opinion is the young man (cop) needs to learn some manners. He could just as easily said "Excuse me sir, could you please tell what you were puffing on..blah blah blah." Why is it you can be physically assaulted just because the assailant is a cop who thought you might have been doing something illegal?
