I got my 1st Ego today from Puresmoker...couldn't resist the $49 price tag! I love it but feel the button is a little crappy. Can these be replaced with a better button?
As far as I know, the button can not be replaced. I too thought it was crappy, it works, just feels "cheezy". The switch on the Silver Bullet, now that's a switch!
Just saying. Heckna, come on back here!.

Sorry, the button is the button....Can't exchange....But, at least for me,,,it works great....Might not feel right at times,,,but works great...But, again, I bought mine
from Janty....I don't know if that matters,,,but never worried or thought about the
button....Wonder why? Take care and Welcome....Enjoy the Adventure...

I would say to you people if you want a better button, you can't lose with the Riva. The button feels so niceand it looks and works almost identical if not better than the Ego!

I concur. the Riva batteries are higher mah rated and the button is a soft rubber material covering it instead of hard plastic. It just feels better and is smoother to operate in my opinion.

On your original question, you probably could swap out the button with a new one, it's just electronics after all. but unless you are just a hard core electrical whiz and love to do that type of stuff, the risk of totally damaging your Ego battery vs. having a different button on there probably isn't worth the time, risk or even cost.

I had also ordered a couple of the RiVa kits on heavy discount and didn't realize they were any different than the Titan Tornado until reading this thread.

I opened up one of the RiVa, topped off the charge on one of the batteries and plugged in a Low Res atomizer.... put the cone on .. and BAM!! It's really a completely different experience than my tornado, in a better way.

It feels like the difference between a porche and a le sabre (i drive).

The bigger Ego/Titan battery revolutionized ecigs for me - the RiVa takes it a step further with better user experience and appearance. It feels like a million bucks.

Can't go wrong with either Tornado / Ego / RiVa - all have been great to me. You don't get this type of experience in the consumer world very often IMHO.

Maybe now the 600lb gorilla is getting ready to burn out all my atomisers and kill my batteries....doh!

Good call.....24 hrs with EGO and lovin it!!!! Great vapor and pulls juice consistantly with burnt taste.

Hopefully you meant WITHOUT burnt taste lol

510 eGos are really good as far as battery life goes - well compared to the regular 510 batts anyway :)

after reading more and more user stories, I am super psyched to get my ego! I havent really found a bad story about one. Congrats on the Ego!:D

There were a few posts a few weeks ago with either a bad batch of batteries or chargers so it seemed. I was shocked because like yourself I find the Egos to be the more dependable units out there. Those were out of the box issues though,so if it works plan on months and months of dependability.
