I got the version one as my first mod as a new vaper. It's a month old now, works like a charm. You're a bad influence on me, as I was thinking about getting another one as a "back up." I sure as hell will pay less for the 2nd one. But I'm still not sure. A mod you can take the batteries out and charge seems like perhaps a better solution. When the batts go, just buy new batts. But congrats.

Hello, new member here, 1st post actually, It seems we have this in common, I had to return my MVP2, it obviously is supposed to be VV VW however my first installment was putting out 5v NO MATTER WHAT!! lol.. I have had my new one for 2 months now and I LOVE it, I work in the field and have used the "battery chargeing" feature a few times now...awesome..I also have the i-taste VV..wish it was a little bigger than 800ma but I love the way it feels in your hand.

I purchased the same MVP v2 from the same vendor. I didn't notice or read about any loose buttons, so I'm guessing mine is ok. It really is a good battery.

EDIT: Wow, just noticed I had a start date of October 2009 and this is my first post. I wonder if the requirement to post in the new member section includes me. :) (I got my first e-cig way back in the 901 and 510 days with real drip tips. I wasn't able to stick with it for too long. Hopefully this time around will be different.)

Welcome back, Genghis! Good luck this time! I too have the same story! I started back in 2009 with a cig-alike but failed back then. I started back in July this year and have been analog free since!! Good luck to you! Things are so much better now! I think 5 posts and your good to go!

Now you just have to do the twisty wisty, timey whimey Doctor Who build. lol

OMFG!

Now I must have an MVP JUST FOR THIS. :O

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought. But the MVP is just so under powered that it would never get used. Already have a great backup as is, it's called a Provari. It's supposed to be a pretty good regulated device, and it does put out 15 watts, so I can get a decent vape from it.
