Welcome back, Genghis! Good luck this time! I too have the same story! I started back in 2009 with a cig-alike but failed back then. I started back in July this year and have been analog free since!! Good luck to you! Things are so much better now! I think 5 posts and your good to go! [/URL]
Thanks Harleybarbie! Looks like I do have to do 5 posts here.
I'm actually taking a different approach this time around. I'm not quitting smoking regular anologs. <Wait! Did he just write that!?> This is just my approach and everyone is different, but I've found that, for me, saying that I am quitting smoking puts too much pressure on me and then I get cranky and moody. At least that has been my experience in the past. So this time, I am going with the, "I am supplementing my smoking habit" approach. I'm normally a pack a day smoker and I found that since I picked up the "starter" kit, I've tinkered and upgraded a bunch in 1.5 months, but I've also started to lower my analog intake. I think it was down to half a pack within days, and now it's probably been about 3-4 regular analogs during this last week. And what I've found so far, is that each time I get the urge to have a regular cigarette, I just have one, but I realize that they are starting to taste pretty bad and I go back to my e-cig.
This has been a good approach for me so far, with a lot less pressure put on me for "quitting". Who knows where this will go for me, but as of now, I'm pretty happy with the results.
